I'm wishin' and hopin' too...sm

After nearly 2 years of bouncing around because work keeps running out, I'm on an account now that just about qualifies as a dream account. Not the company per se, but the account itself I really enjoy. Pay is on time, etc., but work has become a bit unpredictable. As I'm working IC, I'm going to pick up a second part-time account, because I'm not willing to live with the uncertainty of whether there will be enough work to pay my bills from day to day.

I've only got 10 years left until I can drop to part-time for a few years before I'm officially retired, and yes, what I wouldn't give to just be able to stay put and find a way to make this work for that time. For so many years when I worked locally as an IC there was never a question of how much my paycheck would be, and I was blissfully ignorant of the issues of the MTSO world. I'm glad I've only got 10 more years...but I'll always be grateful to have had the work-at-home opportunity as an MT. I count my blessings all the time (especially on those days when its hard to remember what they are!).
