These so called front end speech recognition programs are designed to let the doctor just talk and post the record without sending it through for editing. They are arrogant enough to not even look at what is being typed on the screen. I speak specifically of radiology. I saw a report that was so mangled that you couldn't tell what the diagnosis was. I think that is kind of important. And it was because of no punctuation.
