Told my OBGYN that I DID NOT want my information going offshore. You should have seen the look on his face; he had no clue the dictation was being done in India. I told him if he did not want to use an in-house assistant to transcribe my report, let me know and I will do it myself. He said he would hand-write the report. I don't know if he did or not but he said he wouldn't want his info going offshore - a lot of docs have no clue their work is being done offshore. And VR? The docs I've talked to are already sick of it after 2 weeks of dictating into the system.
