Hi there 'New to MQ'. Contrary to the below posts, I believe you. I bet you have tons of experience, work critical care, work the night shift and weekends (you said so), and sounded on the phone interview like you knew what you were worth, and they gave you the top of the scale (or above). I doubt that they offer that kind of deal to many, though. You are very, very fortunate!! Good for you !! Probably the best deal you could make short of working your own private accounts. In my area, if you work directly for the doctor, you can still get UP to 14 CPL. I am new, so want to work under the 'umbrella' of MQ with QA and all that. I sure wouldn't want to try to work on my own with no support whatsoever. That is for the very experienced!!
