There are times when the processor just seems overwhelmed, and I'll be typing along, but the words don't appear. I have to wait a few seconds for it all to come up on the screen, and if I continue, they'll blink and show up slowly. That usually passes after a minute or two, and then I'm back up to speed. There are also times when the system is just slow to pull up patient info or the doc list for cc's, and I always find that pulling up other reports in Ctrl-S is slow. That's not a big problem when you only have one or two docs who don't enter the proper med record #. But if you have a day where it seems as though every patient name is missing, or you get a few bad dictators and have to go back and look at their previous dictations to get a clue as to what they are doing, it can really slow you down.
For me, tho, when I sit down and don't let myself be distracted, I always average 270-300 lines/hour. But, throw in a hideous dictator, blank patient info, and a busy system and everything comes to a screeching slow down! Fortunately, that is not the norm in my experience with TT, and I've been there since October '06.
