I began decades ago with books but now use only the internet for research - I reached a point where the books had dust b/c I seldom used them, finding everything I needed online.

But I don't think it's a question of internet vs books - I think too many folks today simply do not know how to read well or comprehend what they read and often are too lazy to read, whether online or in a book.
