Can you say where you work where it's so easy to make your lines? All I come across is crap out
s
The platform is Scribe. EASY to learn and use.
The line count is straight 65 characters with spaces and you can see your count which is important to me.

Today is supposed to be my day off. I needed to do a bunch of errands and catch up and do closets. So far, it's almost 10:30 and I have been on here all morning! I need to scoot!
They have Scribe and Allscripts for Ortho. Both are internet based and easy to use. sm
I should mention that I do not know if those are the only two, but I think they are the majority of the accounts.
Accounts are easy in my opinion because
I received ample training and examples/demos on new accounts and have access to experienced MT's that have been on the accounts for some time which is something I had never experienced with any other companies. I like not having to teach myself a system all while trying to support my family.

That I get more lines per hour on Scribe than I did with DocQscribe...
nm
Anyone know of a company, easy clinic work, easy Word format, dependable pay? Help!
x
Are lines easy to get, more typing than
filling in demographics?  Are sound files good overall?  How strict are they on schedule - are they rigid or can you have a little flexibility.
I hit 1200 lines a day easy, sm
I hit 1200+ daily at Axolotl.  I was reaching my line counts within the first week.  As stated in another message, it could be the difference in accounts/dictators.  I work on several accounts though.
With Transtech, how easy is it to get your minimum lines
nm
1100 lines a day which is EASY to meet sm
I am fairly fast, but I got that 1100 on MY VERY FIRST DAY!!!

Lines are easy to get and I have so much work, it is unreal. I can and want to go all day and past it. I still have 4.75 hours to make up this week, but the work is holding at a high level and they are so low stress, I am not tired right now after 9.5 hours today, just want a break for a bit and a hot meal, then back to it.

I can't say enough good things about this place, I just can't.
I started at 0.08 but am at 0.085. The lines are easy to get. For some reason, I type sm
more lines in 6 hours than I used to in 8 hours at a small company in Tampa.  It might be because I have two doctors that I am responsible for and am the only ones that do them.  I also help on two others when their Transcriptionist is off or has too much.
OSI rocks. Easy lines. 900+ in 4 hours - now wish i would have stayed with them. nm
nm
nothing but repetative phrases, piece of cake. just be easy lines.
and tons of just use my normal templates.

Ever think of that?
I agree that it is an easy platform, but compared to other platforms I have used, lines are harder
to get, probably counted or weighted differently.
They work with you to make sure you get the lines required or the amount of lines you want...
I have never had a problem getting more work
Anyone work for Med-Scribe
Good or bad please.  Just changed companies and hate it time to shift and go elsewhere again   Really getting tired of the promises these companies make and don't follow through... Any help greatly appreciated
Work is easy, very nice owner, pays weekly, work in Word.

I work on Scribe, so I can only speak for that but....
I really like it...very easy to learn, it is Word-based, and I get an awesome line count without feeling like I am working for hours upon hours without making any progress...Good Luck to you!!! I am glad I made the switch...
I work on Scribe and I love it...
very easy to get good line count and very user friendly...
Well I was trying like h--- to get my DQS pedal to work with Express Scribe and no way.
Thanks for telling me you had the same problem.  I thought I was the only stupid one that was having this problem.  I thought Infinity would work but it doesnt.
I work on the Scribe platform but there are many other platforms..
just depends on what account you get hired in for. On this particular account, you can look up old reports. We do have part-time employees but I believe they are slowly going away from part-time into full-time.
If you can get the pedal configured using the Settings in Express Scribe, it should work. nm
s
very easy to work with - sm
I have not had any problems with this software (knock on wood).
They offshore. That's where all the easy work goes.
All that's left for U.S. MTs is ESL and difficult dictations.
Supposed to be easy work, but you won't ever get more than 8 cpl. How it was, anyway..nm
s
Anyone work/ed for Archivus? Opinion Please? NM No message

Old posts said easy to work for, but your pay would never go over 7 or 8 cpl depending on
s
I make that much $ too but i work very hard. Its possible, not easy.
x
Yes they can put them to work on easy stuff, such as clinic
NM
AnyModal is alive and well and quite easy to work
with if you have an IT department on the ball enough to make it work with your regular platform.  The only thing it doesn't do very well is formats, it's not much for left justifying but otherwise it actually helps with the bad dictators.  Plus, it's good for a laugh now and then.  I don't mind it anymore.  I mind the low pay rate but if I can get 3200-3500 lines a day on it, I can pay bills.  The first 6 months we had it, it was a nightmare.  Now that it's been in operation a year, it's not so bad.
MedScribe, anyone work for this company that is willing to share your opinion???
I just tested and sent my resume, but I'm in the process of looking at several companies and trying to sort things out.  ty
Not so easy when you make top pay and work days and hours of
xx
Platform is easy to use, and the people are great to work with. sm
I only work there part-time, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.  Good luck on whatever you decide.
I love it. It is fast, easy to learn and easy to use.

Does anyone work for Landmark Transcription by any change. Can you email me your opinion of them.
Thank you.
TT has plenty of work. The platform is super easy to learn and
I'm not having any trouble at all making good line counts doing ESL discharge summaries. Super nice people as well.
Nice people, easy clinic work, leave you alone, but low pay. nm
nm
They use Dictaphone EX Text platform. Very user friendly and easy to work on.
It is all strictly internet based. No extra phone lines required. They do reimburse your high speed internet up to I think $40 a month, too.
I love it here; easy platform, plenty of work, great communication
@@@
Because people only want specific work types, easy dictators and certain hours...
That is why some people find a shortage of work, while others find an abundance. I cannot believe these last few threads and the vitriole of some of your responses. Any time a company is mentioned, any company, there are always a bunch of negative responses.

Maybe you all should check within yourselves to find out why you do not have enough work.

I happen to work for a company that is being negatively mentioned in these posts, and I am extremely happy. They may offshore, but they treat me very well, are communicative and I have never missed a paycheck. I also will do any work types, ESL, and will help out extra when asked. This is one of my first times on this board and I probably will not be back.
1200 lines daily is great if you have the work, personally, I never had enough work so
I left and have NEVER been sorry!
Easy platform, assigned accounts, always plenty of work. Great OM and boss. nm

NO WORK at Transtech -- did no good to work the holiday for 1.5 lines, did it?
I am sure the office staff will share their PAID HOLIDAY MONIES with us who sit here with no work.  This has gotten to be such a frustrating profession.  I guess I need to relocate to Houston so that I can work in the office, too, and reap those wonderful paid benefits that us at-home piecemeal workers do not get.
Platform very easy and quick - easy to get used to. :)
.
how do we work it? Easy answer - work for another company. That happened with the company
I was working for. I would wake up at 4 a.m. AND ON THE WEEKENDS TOO because they needed "coverage" supposedly and I would sit until 9:30 or noon without any work. Sorry, but my rent of $1450/month could not be paid with only $57/day. So I got another job and when I got the equipment and everything, then I quit for the other employer.
Webmedx - low work ? Can you make up lines when work available (sm)
or do you have to schedule a make up time or just do without the lines?
Easy platform, PTO if you are employee, production incentive, direct deposit, work flow varies on
different accounts, but usually have enough to keep busy, lots of QA feedback.
Can only get lines if there is work and that has been
a rarity lately, but they still keep advertising for more help.
Yep, but be sure to ask how many have to work 40 anyway to get their lines. nm
xxx
I'd just like to have some work!! I ran out after only 172 lines! UGH! nm
x
Where do you work making all those lines?
