Why not hold the company accountable for their apparent lack
of cash flow. If they can't pay, then they should tell their MTs and give them a chance to bail
Very easily...
If I can currently get approximately 2,000 lines from 80-90 minutes of dictation at 13 cpl, $1.00 per dictated minute is a big loss.  It depends on the speed of the dictators and also the rate.
I can do 300 lpd relatively easily, $100 a day.

Consistently I would say easily 200/hr all the way
up to 300 per hour but with the right macros/expanders you can certainly do even more than that because it not only depends on the account but also how proficient you are with your expanders.

Of course, you'll probably need a day or two to recuperate from your hard work:)
She gave up too easily IMO.
You can get into the system and see the dictator's other reports. When doing a discharge or consult you can check the H&P. You build your normals for the difficult ones. It takes some time, but it's just the usual groundwork in my experience. These ESLs are quite doable compared to one account I had to do now and then with a different service. And what you can't figure out, you blank. More than 3 blanks and it goes to QA. Not your problem after that. The QA people are great and very complimentary of my work. Makes me feel very good to have them reply that yes, that one was tough! We laugh over what VR would do with those dictators. People can only get good with ESLs if they persist at learning them.
And as easily as the recruiters move around SM
they also can remember all the difficult or nasty people they have had bad experience with at their old companies.  What a person sows at one company, they may reap when they try to move to another.
Their pay is bottom of the barrel. You could easily

A recent job search placed them at the bottom in terms of pay and the schedule they assigned me. Move ahead to something better.

You can easily find private insurance for
a family for a reasonable price compared to what most transcription companies charge and then you aren't tied to a job because of insurance.
Can you easily make your line count - sm
Old posts say 1600 lines per day required.  Is that possible on their accounts without going nuts?   I was sort of looking into them too, just in case.
At OSi using ExText we can easily pull up other patient reports

I've done that many times if I can't understand a medication name or whatever.  I'll pull up the H&P, progress notes, whatever. Really easy to do.

Escription is user friendly and 4 cpl is about average for that platform. You could easily do 400
lines an hour. Some people do even 500-600. Good luck with your decision. From what I know, it really is the best VR platform out there and I make more on that than  ever could straight typing.
I've easily done 600, but it depends on the way a company counts lines and it depends on the
dictators. Obviously, if you have a good share of ESL, there is no way you could ever do 600 or 700. On really difficult ones, I usually run around 400 lines an hour and I have been working on this platform for 3 years.
1800 lines is easily achieved. I average 300-340 lines per hour. nm
