Isolate Annihilate!

Isolate Annihilate!  That is what is happening in this industry.    MTs working from home are already isolated.  The only way to find out what is really going on, is to network with other MTs from within the company by personal e-mail, not company IM or e-mail.  Those are monitored..   A tactic that is being used is  to make each one of us feel that we are really not quite up to the walking-on-water standard, and we should be willing to work for less, take a cut in pay, or go to a higher-paying account where you can be beaten to death mentally by the worse dictators on the planet for a stinking penny more.   Then we have speech recognition that was programmed by idiots who don't know what they are doing.  Good grief, when a 40-line report takes 25 edits, you know it has no place in speech recognition.  What do they care, if they can get somebody to labor over it for 3 cents a line, what the heck.   I have worked on 3 speech recognition platforms so far that are a joke.  Maybe there are some good ones out there, but I think the name of the game is more profit for those slurping at the trough of excess.
