Look it up once, then you know it

I really like this profession because I learn something new every day.  Maybe I just have a really good memory but if I have doubts that I will remember a rare term/drug that only comes up once in a great while, I put it in my spellcheck or expander, or in my notes, etc.

I have a hard time understanding why anyone would complain about having to look something up - the more you know, the better you get!  But it reminds me of someone I used to work with inhouse - she used to ask the same questions over and over and it got old fast.  I think she assumed there would always be someone there to ask, so she didn't bother to try to remember it.  Off site, there is no such safety net, so you better either learn it and retain it...or leave the profession to those of us who can and will.
