I did a search but couldn't find anything about this company.  Anyone have any feedback?  Flexible schedule? Pay on time? etc.?

Thanks in advance.

MD-IT Intelligent...Anyone??
Does anyone have any information on this company as far as workload, pay, benefits, etc. I cannot seem to find anything and they have advertised in the past so I just wonder if anyone took a job and how it was going. Any information would be appreciated.

Has anyone heard of them, worked for them or is working for them?  Need some information, please.
MD-IT Intelligent Transcription
Hi!  I have been a MT for 9 months now.  I really am not making very much money.  I am not averaging over minimum wage.  My company has no benefits either.  But I am grateful to have a job anyway.  I am taking the test for MD-IT Intelligent Transcription because they have benefits and seem like a nice company.  I am wanting some benefits and I would like to make a little more money but I know having only 9 months exp I can't be too picky.  I currently make .065 cents per line but a couple of months ago Carolina Medical Transcription sold out to Alphamed and when they happened I lost my good account I had doing clinic notes.  I think the acute care I am doing now is good experience but it is hard to make any money cause I am forever looking everything up because there is all kinds of reports.  Does anyone know a good company that would hire someone with 9 months exp that has benefits?  I know the speed will build up as I get used to acute care but I could use some benefits.
MD-IT Intelligent.. Would like some information
I am interested in applying to this company but was hoping to get more information as far as benefits, platforms, etc. TIA

Anyone with recent info?  Please...I am tired of being jerked around by the company I am working for!
THANK GOD FOR INTELLIGENT PEOPLE...sm
Unfortunately they are very rare on this forum, but there are! THANKS!
Ok then - MTSOs need to get intelligent enough to figure out how to

accordingly --- instead of overhiring and making us EAT THE LOSS.

The need to smarten up!  I could do the plan but I'm sitting out here in the boondocks and can't see what is coming.  But I certainly could plan a schedule of people to work according to how much work I had OBLIGATED MY COMPANY FOR from the hospital --- surely there was some sort of anticipated work load when the contract was drawn up.

We all know how many reports ON AVERAGE one Transcriptionist can do of a certain work type.

That's what any intelligent person WOULD do. I'd ignore the

Not baby with bathwater at all. She is an intelligent MT
They do double talk at MDI. But their supporters are probably favorites or mgmt. There are plenty of people who have been messed up by this company's revolving door and double talk. I am one of them and I see others on this board as well. If this poster is throwing any bathwater it is to clean the misrepresentation and expose the clean honest truth.
Very intelligent post, and right on target! nm

I would always hope that a responsible intelligent MT...
typed my medical records. However, why should an MT be the ONLY ONE to take the perpetual pay cuts and the increased reponsibilities that should belong to in-house employees...you know those people who get raises and good benefits...such as researching demographics, CCs, etc.

This business is really different than when I got into it almost 10 years ago. I really, really feel for the people who have been in it for longer and have few options for a career change.

Ideally, yes, every member of the team, from those running MTSOs to those in hospital administration, would have patient care uppermost in their minds...but you know without it being said it is all dollars and cents to them.
MTs are just collateral damage, and professional people should not have to take a pay cut for trying to be more professional than the other people on the TEAM.

I shudder at some of the reports that I see, too, but I cannot lay a guilt trip at the feet of MTs trying to make a living when the deck keeps perpetually getting stacked against them.

The last job I went into was exactly this way...if you have a foot pedal and knew speech recognition, you got the job because speech was new to them. Their tech support was also the human resources person, chief salesperson, and CEO, so when my footpedal did not work, I had to figure it out. My QA trial was 3 reports and then off. The office manager sent me the account specifics - updated in 2007, but I had no supervisor. I could e-mail her with questions, do not call please, and she would try to find an answer and e-mail me back. There is no weekend and evening coverage for anything...call Dictaphone if you absolutely cannot work. Otherwise, five blanks is acceptable to send to the client.

To me, these are the people who should be told to buck up, not the MTs. How can you possibly expect to have a quality MT if that is all the time and information you give them? Inferior MTs are being created by the industry and accepted by hospitals so they can pinch a penny.

To ask MTs to switch professions if they cannot cut it is ridiculous, because they will just be replaced by MTs who know less than they do or more work sent overseas because there truly aren't enough American MTs to do the work.

If the work force is so intelligent, why do they
themselves to be victims. Doesnt sound so intelligent to me.
Very intelligent response. If she was not working for Transcend, she would
not be their recruiter.
YOU "get over it", however, makes you sound quite intelligent!
how DO you come up with these amazing comebacks?

ROFL
Absolutely great INTELLIGENT post. Thanks! :-)
And the poster going on about starting schools and training of MTs, to ease transition. The poster needs to read up more as this is way old news. Its happening right now.
MD-IT Intelligent- Any new information on this company i.e. pay, benefits etc.

Anyone work for MD-IT Intelligent out of Portland, Maine?
Just wondering what they were like to work for, decent money, platform, and benefits?? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
or Flexible, Competent, Educated and Intelligent.
Something these posts are making clear many TT employees are NOT.

How pathetic some of you are, stuck in the 20th century and won't budge.

Glad to see I'll have plenty of work this summer while you all fight over jobs with archaic MTSOs that haven't yet made the transition to VR.

Best of luck to you!
