ME TOO/WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The company with whom I independently contract has done the same thing, and I have unpaid delinquent invoices going back to May. Same story. My advice from a local town atty was to file Letter of Demand to pay up in full in 7 days (my atty would charge about $50 for this service with letter and phone calls), and then when they fail to respond, he files in superior court for monies due. It my opinion, if a company cannot pay their contractors promptly, i.e., within 15 to 30 days of service, if not weekly, then they do not have the sufficient business to take on contractors and need to do the work themselves until their cash flow and credit permits otherwise. Keep us posted how you do and I will do the same for everyone else. You may do a search on the board for my recent posts on the details of this company, Rapid Transcript, Inc. out of Los Angeles and Las Vegas, for my posts on their delinquent, unpaid invoices to all MTs for years. You will see posts of a similar nature from other MTs in reference to that company also for years on this board. I feel your pain.
