After 20 years in this industry, I think it gets boring because it lacks any kind of challenge. However, with the experience, lines come rolling in so I make a great living. No complaints there. Due to the lack of challenge, that is why I have spent the last 4 years taking classes, getting degrees - Bachelors in Finance, Associates in Accounting, Associates in Construction Management and working on Bachelors in Statesmenship and my MBA. I simply used my job in order to pay for my challenges without student loans. The good thing about hearing the same old thing from report-to-report was that the words became known, habitual, easy to type so I could get off work earlier, making the same amount of money so I could study. I chose to use boring to find better. It's all in one's perception more or less.
