until you have 2 years of experienct that the AAMT can verify. IF you just finished a course and have been working for 8 months you are NOT a CMT. You may have a certificate in MT from the school you went to but a CMT is a totally different animal. Once you have a minimum of 2 years experience then you can take the test with AAMT ($300+ to take the test) and only upon passing can you call yourself a CMT. Also they (AAMT) keep a list on the internet of all CMTs, so if you are saying you are one, and a company checks the list to verify you are telling the truth (and you are not) don't expect to get the job; 8 months experience and CMT do not mix.
