Get Back Jack

Anyone have information on this company out of southern california?   Thanks a lot!

Get back Jack

Do you now or have you previously worked there?  Can you give me more information?  Thanks.

Anyone know anything about Get Back Jack Productions? nm

And I know another one - Get Back Jack Productions. .nm

dial it back, jack

you're spreading it on a bit thick -- GREAT place to work, NEW (clients next week) - INEXPENSIVE insurance (sometime in the future) - MASSIVE HIRINGS (proof they are growing) -- I am reading between the lines here and now would be a good time to stop the hype. Sounds like the same PR team to promo TT.

Get Back Jack Productions
Anybody ever heard of these guys.  Their ad for an acute care MT says they pay 10 cpl 55 char line with spaces.  Seems too good to be true, so it probably is...
Get Back Jack Productions
I've only heard of them because I've seen their ads. I personally don't care for their name, just doesn't sound professional in my opinion. Sorry I'm not much help!
Get Back Jack Productions Does
anyone work there? If so what platform or platforms? Happy, nice people, keep you busy on one primary, you know the usual questions. I am so sick of looking, being hired, and it turning out awful.
What ever happened to Get Back Jack Productions?
I see the website is still up, but they don't seem to have job postings anymore.  Anyone work for them?

Does Get Back Jack Productions still exist?

I agree with the others -- I like ExText. TransTech uses it, and sm

I am sure others do too (in case that is the company you are unhappy with).  MDI-MD uses Bayscribe, and it is also very easy to use/user friendly.   Webmedx uses their own platform, but it is easy to us as well.  I have worked with Iscriptor too, and it is fairly uncomplicated.  Good luck!

Transtech did ExText upgrade on 6/6/07.
When we logged onto the system ExText did an automatic upgrade on that day.  You must work for Transtech?
TransTech uses Dictaphone Extext

TransTech uses ExText so you can look up MD examples. They pay for spaces, too. Don't know how mu
s
Transtech and DTS America use ExText, and so does eTransPlus, sm

at least on some accounts.  I think I have seen ads for all of them recently, although the Transtech one was only for weekends, I think.

Good luck!

Think Amphion uses ExText. TransTech does but has mucho ESLs! nm
s
TransTech also uses ExText, but think they were running out of work, too. Any comments? nm
s
TransTech and Keystrokes also offer some Dictaphone ExText accts. Very easy to

TransTech get back to you
I sent them my resume I think on Monday, and she called today and pretty much hired me. But I've had 20 years experience. Maybe that makes a difference. I'm worried now though as I've heard ExText isn't so great. Is it really true they take 30% of your work from you? If so, I don't know if I want to take the job even though I need it badly.
How long does it take TransTech to get back to you?
I have nearly 10 years experience.  I sent them my resume over a week ago through their web site, have not heard a word.  Is this the norm for them?
How long does TransTech take to get back to you if you apply
It says a week or so on their site.  I am assuming if you don't hear from them in that time frame they are not interested?
I have worked for MQ, Spheris back when it was Edix, Transcend and OSI. TransTech is by far the bes
The pay is decent, probably not the highest in the business but not the lowest either. The benefits are good. Pay is always on time. Great bonuses. Great communication and most of all I really like the people and it makes me enjoy being an MT again.
I don't work for Transtech but applied w/them, haven't heard back

COBB
I took the test too and thought it was ridiculous. They told me to come back in 6 months, which I never did.
cobb
thanks.  I very much appreciate it.   for now I'm looking for parttime to supplement my full time.  Maybe I should look into it and see if anything has changed!
cobb transcription
They are a good company, good dictators, and Carole, the owner is wonderful.
Cobb experience
I concur - very good (non-national) company to work for as an IC.  Pay was decent, always on time, and owner friendly and professional to work with.  The only reason I left was for a career change; otherwise, I would have stayed there as long as possible.
Anyone with information on Cobb? Thank you. NM

cobb transcription
any info on Cobb in kennesaw.  I thought I saw something mentioned once but cannot find anything here on the boards.  Thanks in advance!!
Any new info on Cobb Transcription? sm

They are hiring IC's for VR editing and also for transcription.  I am thinking of giving my hands a rest and doing editing.

Info is appreciated!

Cobb or *CMT* company info, anyone?
x
Yes, Jack - I would definitely go there...
it is an excellent company. (I am speaking about the MDI in Florida)
I sympathize with you, but did you bother to contact Cobb and talk to them about it?
y
Any info on these companies? Fenton, TRX, Metro (in Georgia), Cobb, etc

Comprehensive Healthcare Service, Keystrokes, MDI-MD, and TSSC.  Would appreciate the following info.

Good dictation quality?

Steady work?

What are the work types?

Good platform?

Pay rate?

Paid for 65 cpl with spaces?

Do you have a flexible schedule?

Weekend work mandatory?

Employee or IC?

Benefits?

Low or high volume ESLs?

Dedicated accounts with the same doctors?

Dialup accepted?

I work for MDI-MD and have worked part-time for Cobb in the past. sm

It has been about 3 years or so since I worked for Cobb Transcription in Georgia (very nice woman, by the way), so my info may be old, but I'll try to help.

Good dictation quality?

Yes for both MDI-MD and Cobb

Steady work?

MDI:  For the most part, yes.  There have been a few times, but you usually have enough secondary and tertiary accounts to make it through the dry times.

Cobb:  I was doing clinic work -- do not recall any times without work.

What are the work types?

MDI-MD has a few radiology and clinic accounts (I think), but probably the majority of the accounts are acute care.

Cobb may have hospital accounts, but all I did with them was clinic work.

Good platform?

MDI uses Bayscribe -- very easy to use.

Cobb used Word.

Pay rate?

MDI pays better than any other company I have encountered.

Cobb's pay rate is kinda low, as I recall, and it was based on being paid by the character.

Paid for 65 cpl with spaces?

Yes for MDI ... as I mentioned above, Cobb paid by the character.

Do you have a flexible schedule?

Yes to both.  MDI gives you a 24-hour turnaround time to do your work, and I think the same was true with Cobb.

Weekend work mandatory?

MDI:  You are asked to work 2 weekends a month, I think.  I pretty much work every weekend, so not sure about the official rules.

Cobb:  No.

Employee or IC?

MDI:  Statutory employee (they take out FICA, nothing else, so you do not have to pay self-employment tax)

Cobb:  Was IC only

Benefits?

No for both

Low or high volume ESLs?

Probably vaies with the account -- probably average with MDI.

I don't recall any ESLs at Cobb.

Dedicated accounts with the same doctors?

MDI:  You have a primary account and usually a secondary account -- pretty much the same docs.

Cobb:  Yes.

Dialup accepted?

Yes to both, as far as I know.  I have had cable so long, I do not recall.

Good luck with your job search.  Hope this helps.   If you have an offer from MDI, I'd take it -- it is a great place to work!

rates 6.5 to 7 cents .NEVER make more at Jack-in-Box
I emailed first (as is my thing prior to spending time testing) They did email back after I asked for the lowest to highest rate offered for the position.

Hi there,

We pay $0.065 to 0.007 starting depending upon experience. Some
companies pay various amounts per line, but it also is important to see
what their line consists of. We pay based on a 65 character line count.

Thanks!

NEMT

Hello,

Does anyone have any info on NEMT aka New England Medical Transcription?  I'm a newbie and am considering them.  The pay is low but I really want to get some experience on my resume.  Besides the pay, are they good to work for?

Thanks in advance for you help,

Dede

NEMT
Yes, aside from the low pay, they are great to work for. Always had work and a steady paycheck. Nice people. Great place to get experience. Good Luck!!
NEMT
So how long ago did your friend have the bad experience with NEMT?  Just wondering since I was thinking of applying with them.  Thanks, Debbie
NEMT
I currently work for NEMT - and I think it is a very good company. They DO offer direct deposit, and pay is NEVER late. The cpl is not great (7-8 cpl), but the work is very easy and no stress.
NEMT
I currently work for them and would recommend them. The pay is between7-8 cpl but the convenience and ease of dictators ..... priceless
nemt
i currently work for them and I love it!  no pressure.  I can't say for the ortho accts though I work on clinic.  If you are able to get on with them you will appreciate that they don't bug you about the little stuff.  Just get the work back on time.  Pay is rather low but stable and I've never had a problem getting my money.  They have direct deposit.  Excellent company to work for..
NEMT

Let me say this was last year so it may be different now. You had to download the daily schedules with the demographic info. in them. (This was downloaded separately from the voice files). Then you had to  match the demographics up with each sound file and type it in the report.

NEMT
I worked for them briefly, about two weeks last year. There was no training. They use Winzip. The people were nice, but you had to download schedules, etc, so the demographics took lots of time.
NEMT
They use VPN. Then you go to their FTP and download PDF file, Word Document, and the zipped voice files. No training, lots of QA, nice people, low pay.
NEMT

Easy platform, pay always on time, low ESL, extremely nice owners, easy docs. The downside? Poor start-up instructions, my supervisor was nasty and didn't like questions, many days of no work available, re-recording quality very poor at best, and often work was 3+ hours late being loaded. This would be a very good job for someone looking for a very small salary on the side for supplementation. Very, very wonderful owners. I would recommend them overall.

NEMT
Easy platform, okay sound quality, very nice owners, low pay.
NEMT
I was NOT referring to them getting back to you I was referring to getting the download files -- if people would READ a post then maybe they would understand - I went from IE6 to IE7 with NO luck downloading the files and now have Mozilla --READ people
