No one WANTS to take a pay cut,

but I for one won't get huffy about NEVER taking one.  That's exactly what would happen if I left and went somewhere else, possibly without the earning potential of the account that I'm on currently.  It is what it is.  The new plan is now equitable across the board - I happen to be on an account that was impacted probably the worst by it.  My options were to stick it out and make the best of it considering my years with the company or cut and run to an unknown situation with another company.  I weighed my options very carefully and decided to put my nose to the grindstone and work harder to make it up.  It wasn't THAT much of a cut that I couldn't make up the difference with a little more hard work.  Starting at the bottom of the totem pole with another company would have caused me a huge potential cut since I'm making pretty darn good money with Transolutions right now and don't wish to go backward financially.  Guess that does make me a company man since there's also a component of loyalty to them.  I don't like any more than you do the fact that lines are taken away from me; however, the fact remains that I was getting paid for many years for work I didn't do.  Not my fault, but as I said, the benefits of staying outweigh the risks of leaving and starting completely over.  Your comment about me being smarter than others with regard to maintaining high QA scores wasn't really necessary, and I won't get into a pissing contest over it.  I wasn't bragging or trying to be offensive; I was just trying to make a point that not everyone is affected negatively by the QA process.  I guess I still view the situation as the glass being half full, not half empty.  Call me Polyanna, but I prefer to maintain a positive outlook about the situation and the company.  You felt it necessary to warn the original poster.  I feel it necessary to also point out that it's not necessarily all doom and gloom.  I hope it works out for you, either with Transolutions or somewhere else.
