Glad to know I'm not the only one. I never even was offered a chance to test. sm

I have over 30 years of experience, and usually almost always get a response when I send out my resume, but not from them.  Odd ....

I'm glad I didn't go with them sm
I was offered a position at Webmedx and decided not to take it.  Boy, am I glad I didn't.
Thanks! I'm glad to hear that, I didn't think anyone used it anymore! I'm glad to hear so
I'll definitely check them out!
i'll 2nd that! I'm glad i didn't
listen to all the nay-sayers. But we are even low on work at the moment; don't expect it to last. In fact, they are sending me work from another account right now...
glad I didn't stick
around too long at TT.  I thought it was bad organization myself.  Just my little input from experience!
They're probably glad you didn't too - (sm)

Be glad you didn't hear.
Why? Stella and crew are psychopaths. You will pay them to use their software license to boot, won't be included in your contract, unless of course, my experience with them has changed that. I have a horror story to tell with this company, believe me.

The most controlling and thorougly unprofessional MTSO I have ever had the displeasure to work with. No wonder they are advertising...they can't keep good MTs.

It happen to me also . . I'm glad I didn't leave my job for them.
x
Be glad you didn't actually start working there...

I was hired and during training realized what a huge mistake I'd made. The software is really outdated and complicated, and there was a lot of miscommunication and misinformation from the start. I didn't have a good experience with the gal who hired me either. Strange to be treated like a number before you're even out of the honeymoon stage of employment!

Be glad you didn't get officially hired - you saved yourself some time and money!

Well I'm glad I didn't stick around for more torture
on the world's worst platform only to find there wasn't enough work anyway.  I only lasted 3 weeks before I flipped my lid.  They told me they really needed help on clinic though.  If you are on acute care, ask to switch.
aren't you glad you didn't quit? NM
x
MDI like the Borg-assimilate or else-be glad you didn't. nm
X
glad I didn't start working for them. It sm
was a mess trying to get set up so I figure the pay would have been screwed up too.
Phew!!! Glad I didn't have to spell that growing up. LOL
nm
Don't sweat it. Be glad you didn't hear back.
x
I didn't take the test! LOL I had to
deal with her on another issue and it put her in an uncomfortable position. She certainly didn't know how to handle it then and her unprofessional claws came out! LOL

I didn't even test for KS rad
I got a call describing the position, then welcome to Keystrokes. So far there's not enough work, I'm begging for more and worried about tiny paycheck. Reserving opinion about company for now.
I had to test but I didn't think it was too bad...
nm
I didn't have to pay to test. sm
only thing so far that might run people off is that there MTs are overseas.
Sorry. I didn't have to take the test. nm

I didn't even get to test, they had an SM
ad, I applied.  I have 15 years of exp., CMT to boot.  Not a peep from them.
I didn't have to test so I'm not sure...wish I could be of more help!
.
Well, if you didn't take the test it's your loss...sm
they are still the best company to work for. You obviously didn't take into consideration their quarterly bonus info either.
Well, did you tell them you got thrown off and didn't even get to take the test?
x
I didn't have to test and I can't remember if they
called the same day or the next day.
I didn't test because rate was low for me, but
Owner was just using AOL for ISP, so I'm betting they don't have their own website. Is it supposedly their site or a testing site such as mttest.com ??

I do know they are a legit company and phone numbers were on emails so maybe you can call and find out what's up with the test. Good luck! I've actually heard it's a decent place, but I couldn't take that much of a drop in pay, unfortunately.
That test was so easy. If you didn't know
 - you shouldn't be an MT.  They were very BASIC questions that you learn in Transcription 101.
Thanks! I was surprised I didn't have to test, but that obviously is okay with me. sm

I have seen many positive posts about the company, and I was impressed by the things I was told by the recruiter.  Thanks again for the welcome!

I didn't fail the test, but... sm
you would not have failed for blanks. In fact, they told me to use blanks if I needed to when I took it because they would not count off for blanks but would surely count off for an incorrect word or guess. I'm sorry you didn't pass, but don't give up. I think you can retest again in 6 months. I happen to think that Webmedx would be worth another testing because it is a good company.
Sheesh, that's awful. Glad I didn't waste my time testing, had a feeling....
x
What's the matter? Didn't pass the test?
Can't pass a test, you don't get the job.
I took the Ortho test and didn't have a problem with it..
maybe it was a different test than your family members but no trouble here...
They didn't test me; I just had a nice long

chat with their recruiter.  Very casual and enjoyable.  She is a nice lady, funny, and enthusiastic about transcription.  As far as equipment, if you need a Lanier they will rent it to you.  They sent me a foot pedal for the internet account I occasionally typed, no rent required on that.  I don't know the exact computer requirements but Bayscribe doesn't call for a supercomputer by any means.  Hope I have been helpful.

I didn't have any trouble with the test after I got used to the fact sm

that I couldn't use my foot pedal.  The first and the third parts were easy, but I couldn't hear a few spots in the second dictation and had to leave blanks, but I guess that was okay because I apparently passed.

Maybe give it another try -- don't let the no foot pedal thing spook you.

I didn't receive a score but the test was hard.

I'm almost afraid to ask what I got.

Honestly, I've been hired by companies that didn't test me.
I did not like those jobs one bit.  You start out immediately being stressed because they're out of TAT and desperate for people.  The work quality was terrible and I mean worse than any other place I've ever worked.  With your CMT credential, I don't think you'd have a problem finding a decent job.
Guess I didn't. Heard back within a day of taking the test, sm
but that was several years ago.  Depends on current recruiters, I guess.
Their test didn't involve all that dictation in the past. Wonder why the change? nm

A company sounds strange because you didn't pass their test? SM
I LIKE working for a company that puts quality over everything else.
No, don't feel bad - I didn't pass the editing test, either, to my shock! ;) nm

I am so glad, so very glad that finally I have reached
the age that if we are low on work, I just take off. No problem at all and love the extra day or so off. I now have worked since the 70s and finally made to retirement age, get SS plus other retirement money coming in and thank the good Lord do not have to worry about if there is work or not. BTW, when I worked inhouse never ran out of work ever, only when transferring out to company do they run out of work. If I had to raise a family now I would most certainly cross train on other accts at my place but only have 1 that I work on, by choice.
I took a test for a company and my foot pedal would work with the test and I had keep going back
over the dictation time and again to get all the words because I couldnt stop and start it by the foot pedal.  What can I do about this.
Just took the test myself. No actual dictation to transcribe. Just a written test.
For 13 cpl, I might do it if the dictators aren't a total horror.
I just took the test today - thought it was a great test of MT skills.
x
There is no written test. Must have been a different company. I took their ortho test sm
and it was easy. You had to know your terminology but it was easy to understand AND I used my foot pedal.
Is the test through mttest.com a timed test? Thanks. nm

I didn't say I didn't care, I just don't understand
why the sudden outrage over HL offshoring.
She didn't say they didn't offshore at all s/m
What she did say is that if the work needs to be done here, it stays here (paraphrased a bit, I think).

That is not lying and saying that they don't offshore work, as was stated by another poster above, but saying that if the client wants the work to stay in the US, they will keep it here. Sheesh.
