Keystrokes has been around longer, which I like, but Zylomed
is just clinic notes, and you can usually make a lot of expansions for those. Also, they only require 800 lines a day to get full time benefits and pay part of the insurance premium. Medquist requires 1200 lines a day for insurance, etc.

Zylomed info?

Has anyone worked for this company?  If so, what is their platform like, what do they pay per line, all the usual info?  Thank you in advance.

Can anybody offer any RECENT info on Zylomed?
Particularly, do they offer health insurance?  Anybody know what the pay scale is like for radiology?
Been offered positions with Keystrokes,

TransHealth and TransTech.  Can't decide which to take.  There are dislikes with each.  Really want flexible schedule and ability to work off-line (download files and then go off-line).  Of course I want to be paid for my experience too (20 years).

I have seen mostly good posts on each in the archives.  KS seems to have the best potential.  I tend to stay in one place for several years and I dislike learning new dictators/platforms/ etc. so want to get it right the first time.

Any thoughts?

Comparisons
I know this is a huge puzzle, but which of the two big nationals come off as the least objectionable? Medquist or Spheris? In terms of pay, availalibilty of work, a steady income that doesn't go up and down (mostly down) as the months go by, that isn't having a love affair with India and waiting for the big bucks to materialize from that direction, so that they ignore or constantly downgrade their own American employees?
Zylomed - Info from current employees appreciated

Is their platform  Inscribe by Emdat?   Autopopulated demographics?   What is average pay?  Can you make a good line count?  Good dictators?

I was offered a job with MDI a year ago before I was hired at Keystrokes - SM
They told me that I probably wouldn't want to leave my other job as I probably wouldn't have enough work, and that the account they would put me on was VERY heavy ESL and needed unlimited long distance. That was a big turn off for me! I then accepted a position with Keystrokes right after that, and a year later I'm still glad that I did!
cost comparisons - IC vs SE

There's no actual formula you can follow, because there are too many variables. How much do you withhold for taxes? (i.e. TN doesn't have a state income tax). Do you need to pay for health insurance, and how much? Do you need a phone line with/without unlimited long distance? Do you have minimal office costs (just a headset for voice files or would you need to buy another C-phone if the one you had died)? Do you want perks (i.e. paid sick time)? And so forth.

In a nutshell, you don't want your net pay to be different either way. In other words, if you net pay as an employee/statutory employee is $20,000 for a 40-hour week, make certain that after all of your deductions you are not making less.

Up to date info on Zylomed? People change and companies do to...(sm)
I need current information from MT's that do or have worked for Zylomed (Naples, FL) in the last year. If you've had a bad experience with them 2 or 3 years ago, don't bother writing. People change and companies do too! I need the real skinny on what's happening now. I would really appreciate hearing from current employees! Thanks so much!
Current Webmedx people who came from MQ. Looking for comparisons. sm

Like how do their line counts compare to MQ?

How is their time keeping method compared to E-time?

How steady is the work compared to MQ? Interested in Acute work on this.

E-mail if you wish.  Thanks.

Any info on Peachtree? Offered position there

I was offered a position at Peachtree today.  Does anyone have any info on this company?  Easy to work with or not, pay on time, easy platform, flexible with appointments, etc?  Thanks for any and all information, as I couldn't find much in the old posts.  Thanks!

Offered Job with Webmedx, Any Info? Good, the bad, the ugly??
The offer sounds really good.  I would like to hear from current Webmedx'rs and see how you like it.  Are the production incentives as good as they sound?  The benefits??? Thanks in advance for any information to help me with my decision.
Zylomed North Florida, Inc....is this the same as Zylomed?

And does anyone have any current info on them...do they hire IC?  Thanks!

Can I get some info on Keystrokes
Rad MTs are able to get on a daily basis? Please. TIA.
Keystrokes info, please
You are paid by report, right?Could you tell me if the short reports/long reports equal out. Can you use your own expander program?  To have plenty of work and not be bothered all the time, that sounds good to me!
Info on Keystrokes please. TIA

Keystrokes Info
Okay, let's see. Yes, I had to test for this position. I have a strictly cardiology account. There are two ESLs who speak better English than some of the other dictators in the practice! We are about to get new, cheaper health insurance coverage, in March, I believe. The benefits appear reasonable to me. I am not in a typing pool. There is just me and another Transcriptionist on this one office account. By the way, I think you get health insurance benefits after 90 days, which is typical. Hope I answered everything!
Info on Keystrokes sm
Can anyone give me any information about Keystrokes? I'm having trouble finding any recent information on them. Thanks!
Some More Keystrokes Info
Well, J, I'll take some of your questions. The pay was higher than what was offered to me by other companies by a full cent per line. We are paid on the 1st and 15th, direct deposit, and check is in the bank by 10:00 that day. I love my primary and secondary accounts. I have plenty of work. Hope this helps - we'd love to have you!

Any new info on Keystrokes?
I have checked the archives and haven't found much recent info.  I would really appreciate the good, bad, and ugly.  Pay on time, benefits, flexible, etc.... Thanks in advance!
Any info on SmartMed vs Keystrokes?
If anyone has any information on SmartMed I would appreciate it, (having enough work, pay, etc).  Trying to decide between SmartMed and Keystrokes for radiology accounts.  Thanks!
Keystrokes, need info. Good? Bad?
Any info would be appreciated.
Any recent info on Keystrokes
Does anyone have any experience with Keystrokes? I am getting kind of fed up with my company that I have been with for a year, and I just got an e-mail Keystrokes saying that my resume meets their requirements and sent me a questionnaire to fill out. I was wondering how the pay is, how the accounts are, the managers, and how easy their platform is to learn. Any info, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated!
Keystrokes and Meditech info please
I am going to work for Keystrokes on the Meditech platform and now I read horrid things about the platform.  I DON'T do well with donating my time to set up reports or to send them, and this appears to be the premise of Meditech...  Can somebody enlighten me?  Please tell me there is not a lot of wasted time (aka... DONATED TIME) on the meditech platform.  Thanks
Anyone gotten their Keystrokes tax info for filing
out taxes yet??
Looking at applying with either DSG or Keystrokes. Any up-to-date info would
be appreciated such as work availability, etc.

Did Keystrokes sell to Transcend? I thought Keystrokes was buying up companies sm
but I heard from another service owner that they sold out to Transcend. Anyone know if that happened?
Zylomed

Any info on Zylomed in Naples Fl (not the North Fla one).  Was offered a job there.  Got mixed reviews in the archives but not sure which one was being reviewed. You can email me directly. Thanx.

Zylomed

Any info on this company, good or bad?  I am considering a position with them.  Thanks.

ZyloMed
Thanks for responding. How would this affect my working for them (sending offshore)?
ZyloMed
Thanks. I have decided against them now for more than one reason. I think they were a little too anxious to hire; they seemed desperate almost.
Zylomed

Get your facts straight before you post!  Zylomed does not offshore now and only did as the previoiusly poster said one small account and then the Indians could not even do it, so they gave up the account.

Zylomed is an EXCELLENT company to work for.  They have nice managers, and the owner Susan Sumner is by far one of the nicest women I have ever worked for in this industry.  They are a good company, they pay on time, and always have work, and when they do not the Lead MT who is over everyone makes sure that there is work to go round.  I speak from experience, as I worked for them part time, for about a year, and found them to be honest, upfront, and nice people.  They have lots of radiology.  I was sorry that I ever left, but had a family illness.

zylomed
I just started working for them and everyone is nice, helpful and polite and pay was on time. I would go for it.
Zylomed

Anybody know if Zylomed hires employees or just IC, and if employees do they provide health insurance? Thanks! TC

ZyloMed
Any info on ZyloMed? TIA
zylomed
I have been working for them for about 3 months.   It is a good company.  Pay is twice a month and automatically deposited and on time.   Good QA, system easy to learn.  People are nice.  If there is anything else you need to know let me know.
Zylomed
Any current info available?  Do they offer health insurance. TIA.
