It is all the same terminology. Just because clinic notes are shorter does not mean they do not use the same terminology.  Clinic notes also cover wide varieties of medical terms.  I guess you all have not done that many clinic notes.  Also, any one who can transcribe should be able to transcribe anything.  A lot of the time an MT gets stumped due to the pronunciation of the word and not necessarily the term itself. 


Please get over yourselves.  Yes, thanks to AAMT or whatever they are, this field has become I am better than thou.  Too bad... I have done it all and it is all the same terminology. 


Nervous breakdown?  If anyone has these issues, they need to find another job...  LOL  You all are a hoot; oh so better than everyone else...  Get over it...  It's all the same.  ESL = fast speaking American, too, ya know...
