I wouldn't be irritated about it but it is fair to say that not all in-house hospital jobs are the same. I personally have had teh same experience as the poster - I had exposure to everything - main 4, radiology, pathology, cardiology, neurology, oncology, neurosurgery, etc., etc., etc. The attendings and consultants are from every specialty - hello??? I saw one poster who said doing main 4 does not mean you do all specialties - uh, yes it does. Actually worked for 3 hospitals and did everything at all 3 - so that helped me when I came home to work, no problem with work types.
