I have a lot of oncology clinic experience, but I've done acute care, too.  I really like where I work now, but I'd feel more comfortable if I had a backup.   Or if I found a good FT fit I'd make the current company a backup. 

Thanks for your input.  I think I will go ahead and apply.  The worst that can happen is they say no.
