My backyard is the Atlantic Ocean with the best beaches in the U.S.

I have quite a few friends working at other companies right now,and from what I hear, the grass is not always greener on the other side.

I hope for your sake that you are happy where ever you are working, because you sound very bitter. Good luck with that! Have a wonderful day!

 I am skeptical when

large groups of people claim to be deliriously hapy with their jobs but they are all hanging out on a web site for people looking for a new place to work. Must be my own personality trait that questions such.
   Skeptical is okay

By posting I was not aiming for cryptic - I was trying to avoid being redundant.  I admit there's a lot of info on this site and elsewhere on the web and finding it can be very time consuming.
      Google Ruban Rouge
You'll want to check out Lisa's Blog - don't miss the newsletter and the upcoming calender appears to be filling up fast.  Make sure you read the archives back to 2006.
Before your skepticism goes any further, note the photography, travel details, personal family info and last, but not least, employee details.  I agree this is not a full-time job.  If you average in all the store-related travel and vacations, I think it's more like a 60-hour-week.
I'm afraid this is all I can do to help you find your way. As I said to TripleThreat, time to close this issue once and for all and move on.  QT obviously has and so should we.
Don't really care if your skeptical
just stating the facts. In my 20 years of MTing, I have always checked out other companies to see if there was anything better.

Oh, by the way, I just took a nice long walk and it sounds like you could really use one.
Don't be too skeptical..same thing happens at my company. I think as it nears the end of the pay
period people panic if they are not where they want to be at so it seems like everyone jumps online to get in a much work as they can and it ends up being slim pickens. So, honestly, I don't think the other poster is making excuses. It does happen.
