but it wasn't my cup of tea for 3 reasons:  1)  Too many damn rules that always changed and too much format crap to put up with.  2)  The horrendously slow, inefficient and always going down Apex platform.  You also have to agree to go back to a very slow Java version 5 & agree not to update it - that will slow your computer down considerably.  You also have to clean out the cache manually, which isn't hard, but its just one more thing to do.  3)  Very poor sound quality on some of the dictations - sounded like doctors dictating from trains, planes and automobiles. 

I really liked the account I was on, although there were cherrypickers and I would sometimes end up with only crappy dictators.  Luckily, the bad dictators only comprised about 20% of the account.  I liked the owner & was always paid on time.  Tech support was okay, although it did take them awhile to figure out the problem.  Office girls are nice/helpful.  QA sometimes nice and sometimes nasty, very moody.

I think Chronicle offers another platform, but I'm not sure.  If Apex is hideous for you, ask for an account that is not on Apex.  Maybe you will really like it.  Don't be swayed by anyone else's opinion - find out for yourself.
