How much more can they strip from us MTs?? My Lord! It makes me so angry because I have always truly put out the best transcribed reports I can! But you know what? Recently I am slowly noticing myself not caring a rat's *ss. All the looking up we have to do for cc's, ensuring correct patient, on and on....which we have never been compensated for, but now our lines are shrinking, shrinking....yeah, if anyone ever comes to me saying I want to work at home, how do I get into transcription? I have myself a good ol laugh inside, and tell them to run, run, run....they stand there looking at me all baffled...it truly is comical. This business is made to look so glorious when truly I compare it to slaves working in clothing factories in another country...that is how I feel.
I say we all REVOLT and quit working for just ONE day...THEN see where they are at with their beloved clients! (hey, we can always make it up on our day off...hahahahaha....)
