Webmedx also pays 70% of your current rate. nm

Webmedx pays 70% of your line rate. I make more on VR s/m
with them them straight typing, a lot more.
Webmedx pays 70% of your regular line rate. nm

She means Webmedx - which pays VR at 70% of your normal line rate. nm

My account has an 800# but I have a flat rate plan because of sm
my college kids and it is only a few dollars more a month than not having it. I set it up as a business line with unlimited long distance when I started with KS at their suggestion. It only costs me $54.99 per month and I have kept it because of the kids. Long distance charges aren't like they used to be. I used to pay $400 a month a few years ago with a different company. This is so much better.

I cannot get flat rate plans in my area...SM

I presently use One Suite but am reimbursed.  I used to use Vonage but it does not work well with the account I am presently on.

Does Transcend pay a flat hourly rate
If so, how much?
You are aware that other companies pay a flat ASR rate? sm
Some pay as low as 2 to 2.5 cpl for ASR editing. With Webmedx your rate is based on your pay - and some MTs are making considerable productivity increases (40% and above) using Webmedx ASR, so they are actually making as much as straight transcription.
No, I am not paid any flat rate and I told that recruiter
I gave my notice, but he continues to ask me. Of course, I have not given my notice and will see how this job plays out. One thing to note is the recruiter claims I have a great account that many would be happy to have. May be he is worried about fabrication.
No Long Distance Charges...they pay flat rate phone plan or use internet
..
MW no longer pays for training.
Per leads.
TransHealth pays hourly for training. nm

OptiScript pays hourly training. nm
s
I think Transcend pays hourly for training for
But, I think the training is Monday through Thursday and I think you do 10 reports a day.  This is how it was last year, but I'm not sure about now.
Spheris pays for training. It used to be pretty good. Don't know what
xx
I only got through a few days of training
I liked the platform itself.  I think the editing part would be very easy once you've learned the hot keys to maneuver.  I worked on Meditech for many years, so Beyond Text would have worked well.  They do also try to match you with your skill set.  The recruiter, Jan Clay, is just wonderful.  She truly does understand what it means to be an at-home MT.
I think it is $12/hr and it was 4 hours + 1 hour training, 2 days. nm.
nm
Still waiting for training - been 6 days since signed on with them. I would have like to have been

already working by now. Was scheduled for training on Monday but didn't materialize.  Can't figure it out.

No its true, they will FIRE YOU after 3 days of training

...IF you dont hit 98%.  they are just unreasonable in this manner.  Totally ridiculous, like the ones firing you are not human and never had to learn anything to get WHERE THEY ARE!

MQ pays 70% of your MT rate. More than anyone else.

Webmedx ASR rate is 70% of your regular line rate. sm
So if you are on a 9 cpl account, you get 6.3 CPL plus any bonus / incentives / shift differential.
MQ pays 60% of transcription rate for VR.

What is their VR rate? I am sure you will be training VR. Can't make money that way.
NM
MQ pays hourly. Their starting rate
was the highest of all the top nationals who are still paying hourly, plus they provide all your equipment, pay for your internet and the benefits are great.
Also in training with Webmedx
I love their platform as well.
Transcend only pays 55% of line rate for editing...

I could have dealt with an 80% cut.  I think that is a very fair rate.  That is my whole point.  I do not have a problem with the fact that they are moving to ALL editing.  I have a problem with the cut being too large.  I think 6 cpl would have been fair.  That allows you to make a decent wage, but 4 cents is absolutely ridiculous.  If voice recognition is the way of the future, at least MQ is doing something right, at least trying to be fair.  Transcend is just greedy!!

Medquist no longer pays hourly rate for QA - that

It is MME.  You do QA for 3 cents a line.  Then when that runs out, which it does, you do Editing at 5 cents a line.  And you also get straight transcription which is 8 cents a line.

Was in the pilot program and got more Editing and straight Transcription than QA.

No more QA department for MQ.

webmedx training period
when I trained I was on the phone for about 6 hours or more I believe. they walk you through the entire procedure.
When MDI-FL pays vacation time, is it hourly rate or an average

You have to go to NJ to train and pick up their computer & she pays a low per-page rate. nm
s
do you find being paid per the minute pays better than per line pay rate?

Thank you so much for your help!

As long as Webmedx pays well for VR
accounts, I won't mind, but if they do like Transcend, I will have a real problem. I can't afford to make half the line rate I make transcribing doing VR. We'll see and hope for the best.
Any other new Webmedx hires? I start training (sm)

in about a week.  Am really excited and nervous. I realize no company is perfect, but this one seems to  have so many of the things I am looking for.

I start training with Webmedx next week...sm
Like you, I know there is no perfect company, but they do seem pretty darned close.
Webmedx training period. Is it 8 hours a day or...
whatever period of time your trainer designates for those first few days.  I'm starting Webmedx on Monday.  I guess I could wait to find out, but would be nice to know what others' experiences have been.  Thanks!!
Pays per page, top rate less than what I made 10 yeasr ago, benefits high
.
Who in the heck pays you that insulting rate. As Dr. Phil says, "Are you kidding me" LOL
There is no way. I cant get over it, 2 cpl a line???? just pennies a line what an insult for your time. I dont care if you are an old MT or newbie that is ridiculous and when people accept that kind of pay it just drives down the cpl for all of us. I mean heck if they can get people to do it for 2 cpl, why pay 5 cpl so they can pay their bills. That just blows my mind. You'd be better off working an 8-hour shift at McDonalds.
I know Webmedx pays $11/hour for 1 week.
I have seen in the past week other companies that pay, but I didn't pay attention to who they were.  I found the info browsing the job boards.
Webmedx pays $11/hour for one week and then
pay 25% above line rate for 3 days to give you some time to build-up production.
Webmedx pays for half of the testing fee...sm

if you pass, which I think is very generous.

They also raise your line rate a quarter cpl when you become a CMT, which is not fantastic, but we all know any addition to your cpl can add up.

It's more than most companies offer.

Webmedx pays 8 hrs holiday pay (based on your LPH sm
production rate), plus whatever you transcribe for the day. Effectively, this is like double-time.
Webmedx pays very well for VR - probably the highest or close to it. nm
nm
Webmedx pays fairly well, not flexible, though.
They used to hire with a 12-hour window, but I have heard they don't do that anymore, just a straight 8 schedule. Good luck.
Does Webmedx radiology still pays everyone at 7.25 per line regardless of experience?
x
Webmedx pays weekend and shift differential. nm

What is the average or going rate for MTs these days?

I've gotten a couple of offers for jobs.  The pay seems aweful low for someone with 3 years experience.  Yes, I know that is a lot less than some but I'm certainly no new graduate.  I've gotten offers for IC positions starting at 5 and 6 cpl for 65 character lines.  Today I got another for an IC position that pays 6.5 cpl for 65 character line without spaces.

I may have to take one of these lower paying jobs until I can find better because my family needs the income.  Hopefully there is better out there... geeze.  Please, is this the 'going' rate for us now.  :(

I like Webmedx, 8 yrs (from Rodeer days) sm
Like my pay, my accounts, and love my manager. Good benefits, paid time off, flex hours. No offshore.
Webmedx: 3 days only PTO? True?

Sounds like a great company with a lot of good feedback on this board, but I read somewhere that they only have 3 days PTO annually.  |Could this possibly be true?  The other companies I am applying to all list 10 days or greater per year.  Webmedx is my first choice, but I don't think I can live with never having a vacation again.  Anyone?

Old posts say IC,DSS files, starting pay not negotiable, rate increase after 90 days,1000-1500 lpd.

Webmedx and other companies. What pay rate for VR? (sm)
I work for MQ now and they pay 70% of your regular transcription line rate for voice recognition/editing.  Just wondering about Webmedx and any other companies.  Thanks in advance.
