Will patients have to give permission to American IC's too? I don't really think most patient's know their personal medical records are typed in many unknown homes, much less overseas. Do you ever wonder if your next door neighbor or other is transcribing your medical records? I'm stepping on my own toes here as I am an IC who works at home, but I do sometimes wonder where and by whom my medical information is being transcribed. My history is not that interesting nor am I target for blackmail, but if I were, it would be very worrisome.
