What's her reasoning for getting rid of them, I wonder?

In Reply to: Good idea - don't. She was with OSi for several years - and did fine until she went to QA

How does she have so much pull with the company?  What reason does she give for getting rid of all of these people, not meeting production or what? How can someone be with OSi for some years, move into QA, have it not work out, and then not be offered their MT position back? Definitely makes me want to just stay put in my little spot here.

I'm so sorry. What was their reasoning? nm

Don't agree with the reasoning. sm

A farmer doesn't wait until the grocer sells his crop (veggies) before he pays the farm workers.  If you stated in your contract to the subcontractors that they do not get paid until you get paid, now that is another story.

    How is that faulty reasoning?
It states in our contract that the cut off days for lines are the 15th and the last day of the month and that we will receive payments 7 days AFTER. Anything before is just EARLY.

We got used to getting paid a day or two after the cut off day for awhile so now that we are getting paid the way the contract states everyone is up in arms.
    exactly my thoughts and reasoning.....nm

We do not have an 800 number either. The reasoning is that sm
toll-free numbers are very, very expensive for companies and with cell phones and unlimited long distance, there is no reason to have them any longer.

What is the reasoning he is giving?
I did have one company tell me that I couldn't have any file sharing type of program on the computer I would be using and would need to uninstall all other platforms. I ended up not working for them as if they want to tell me what I can and cannot have on my work computer, then they need to provide the computer.
That is absurd reasoning and a

pretty more defense for them putting too many bodies on an account. Taking work away from someone else's primary is hurting them.  Having someone be on multiple accounts with picky account specifics is a sure way not to make any money.  And like the Suits, we are in it for the money, as poor as it might be on our end.
