What I like best about the name, 'Typed - (sm)

in the U.S.A.', is how much it says, just sitting there by itself. Imagine it on letterhead. Or a business card. Or JAMA advertisement for MT services. Just that name alone, without one word from you or anyone else, thumbs its nose at 3rd-rate offshore transcription, and at the cheapskates who think saving a couple cents per line on transcription is somehow best for their hospital's bottom line, and somehow doesn't affect patient care. (Not to mention the medicolegal ramifications of underpaid offshore sweatshop labor, and how badly it can muck up a patient's medicl record.)

Yes, I think a simple thing like 'Typed in the U.S.A.' manages to both advertise quality, and point out poor quality in others, without ever actually coming out and saying so.
