Here we go again. Getting ready to lose another job to a company that outsources big time to India. I keep hearing in the news that NAFTA is good, NAFTA is great, but I have yet to see how it is. All I see is the US pricing and/or shopping itself out of jobs (when you buy all that cheap foreign stuff at WalMart then they quit making it in the US,then workers lose jobs and can no longer afford to buy even the cheap foreign stuff from WalMart). I also hear all the talk about how you can find another job or get some retraining. But once you reach a certain age it isn't as easy to find a job. I don't care what they say about no such thing as age discrimination-it exists. My sister lost her job in a bank merger at age 52 and had a heck of a time finding a job. Sorry to vent, but I just don't get it.
