When I first heard of this happening, I couldn't believe it, but I understand that it does happen.  The thing about this particular incident was that the recruiter seemed to change her story just to get me to complete the testing, despite the fact that several hours had passed, while her first contact said to hurry and get it back as fast as possible, since the first good respondent would be hired. I imagine she had hundreds of replies, and all that free help.
