I'm sure that you're not the only MT in that earning position, but you had the courage to do something about it. I'm sure that the Walmart job is not an intellectual challenge, but at least it's a job. Who knows? You might be able to transition to management or something.

It's a sad commentary on the state of this profession when a temp job at Walmart pays better that what you made as a transcriptionist.
Hold your head up high, and commend yourself for taking action instead of staying stuck.
