Um, not so overdramatic. It's happening to a lot of MTs. Not all of us have a hubby with a decent paying job and bennies to rely on. And getting on food stamps? Honey, they aren't handing them out like candy. Around here you have to jump through hoops to get them and even then I'm considered to make too much to receive them. And yes, I have eaten crackers and peanut butter etc just to make sure my kids ate. This is why I'm going to go back to school. Something that actually pays a living wage. Because sitting for an 8 hour shift and getting maybe 8 jobs isn't feeding my kids.
