if your choice is put up or pass it up, then pass it up. Anyone can report them to the IRS. And you can definitely challenge the company on it. They think we don't know the rules, and that is because so many of us do put up with it. They need to find out that we know what they are doing is not legal and that we will not put up with it. I saw a couple of ads on here for companies saying IC and then dictating hours. I responded with a short note and a little cut and paste job from the IRS guidelines for ICs. if we don't act on it and just let them continue to get away with it, we are as much to blame. SPEAK UP. All that it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing! What they are doing to us is evil!!
