In Reply to: No offense, but do you work at line rate in-house? - Not hourly pay??

Yes, I'm hourly.  However, my hourly rate is based on productivity.  So when you calculate my hourly rate with what I have to produce in an 8-hour shift, it only comes out to about 9 cpl, and I'm quite sure a big huge national company costs more than 9 cpl. (don't they?)

Everybody is doing this, that is why people are out of work.  They would rather over hire, etc. and meet TAT and have not enough work to go around.  On Tuesaday, the national is typing away to keep us within TAT, and then on Wed. there is no work.
