I hope you find something that fits; undoubtedly there is a right fit for everybody out there somewhere. I have come to the conclusion that finding the right MT gig is kind of like dating. You know, having to kiss a thousand frogs before you meet the handsome prince.....Have you tried contacting hospitals directly and asking if you could have a private ER account? When I worked for MQ, the ER department of a huge teaching hospital was actually a separate account from the rest of the hospital and was handled on its own, apart from the rest of the hospital. Maybe there is a hospital in your area that would give you the ER account? You could make more money than working for an MTSO. I don't know if this is your cup of tea, but it might work.
