confused.  Did you mean Gordon Ramsay (TV chef) or Dave Ramsey (financial adviser)?  And I think you may be *assuming facts not in evidence* because I saw no head-shaking or eye-rolling in the previous post.  I am also a bit confused by the whole *now I have to go to payday loans regularly to make ends meet* school of thought.  If it's not our company pulling the rug out from under our feet, then it's the car or the refrigerator breaking down or an unexpected trip to the doctor, or gasoline prices going to $4 a gallon, or some other unforeseen event that we do not get any  notice for.  I agree that we may not know what bad thing is going to happen, or exactly when, but we can be darn sure something will, and without a 4-month notice ahead of time!  Let's get a grip here.
