puzzled

If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it.  I've been an IC for 10 years but now need benefits.  I'm clueless as to what it's like to be employee status.  Do you feel totally tied to your computer all day or is there flexibility as to when you get your lines done.  I'm wrestling with whether to stay an IC and find my own health care insurance or go employee status - yay or nay ???

Call me puzzled
I am the lead on 2 accounts at Keystrokes and I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you confusing Keystrokes with another company? When the MTs on my team have a blank, it is given to me to listen to.
Also totally puzzled
I also have been with Keystrokes for several months and that post above about being reprimanded for not posting on some board makes NO sense whatsoever. That is definitely not Keystrokes. You definitely have it confused with some other company.
Agreed. plus I am truly puzzled by...
....the fact that I see companies continuously posting pay of around 0.07 cents per line and expecting to get experienced MTs in acute care.  Are they finding truly experienced employees at that rate?  I doubt it and what worries me is that I don't think they care.  And....I don't want to sound condescending but after looking at some of the word help posts I am beginning to wonder how some of these brand new folks can do transcription at all.  I see questions being posted for the most basic medical words and medications and it appalls me.  Sorry to be so harsh.
