Sorry - I was making a feeble attempt at sarcasm.

Sad that now even the MT is trying to justify falling

So let's justify your RIP OFF of everyone else? O-kay CUPCAKE
Jeeze, you are giving all MTs a bad name. And I'M NOT A SUIT. I'm a hard-working, loyal MT who feels you are a thief, plain and simple.
Attempt #121, Day 3...

And the cycle continues.  Guess what?  TTD is still going to keep posting their job ads.  People will continue to sign her contract.  Your attempts, whatever you are trying to accomplish, is truly a waste of your time.  Instead of being reactive, try being proactive for once.

Attempt #122, Day 3...

The fact that no one is perfect still does not justify - nm

They say there's a "shortage" to justify sending
Sending work to India isn't a necessity for MTSO's, it's a PREFERENCE. Not only can they get away with paying those poor workers peanut wages, but OUR government gives them financian incentives to do so.

That's why it's time to make our voices heard, and start writing our government representatives to tell them that the best economic stimulus they can have is to bring our work back home, and stop giving U.S. companies a wink, a pat on the back and a buck under the table for offshoring.

It should be made more expensive to offshore than to pay U.S. workers a fair wage and decent benefits.

Offshoring should be a company's LAST choice, not their FIRST choice.
In the past they have done this in an attempt to
attract people who know/have worked on the account.
CPL Explanation - Attempt at Least :)
The returning visits are not a lot of copy and pasting - it's one global time (and my folks love it because they get to work in Word and use their tools, they're not stuck typing into a system where their Expanders and dictionaries are useless) - you get paid for work previously done, which you do not have to change, edit, or even read, in addition to the portion you add. All in all the MT comes out ahead.

If anybody is seriously interested in how it works, I can put you in touch with MTs (some of whom have 20 plus years of experience) who can tell you MT to MT how they are most certainly not getting ripped off.

Just drop me a private note.

If you'd rather work for a company that promises work and doesn't have it, or has the work and doesn't pay, then don't bother sending me your resume.

Because we do have the work - and we do pay.

Bad experience at previous jobs does not justify

I think it was an attempt at humor to lighten up what obviously would be a sm

depressing situation for the employees.  I don't work there anymore, but I know I would be devastated if I had to take a drastic cut in my pay.  Anyone who tells you that you can do 2-3 times the amount of lines doing VR has to have brown eyes because they are full of it!

LIghten up.  I doubt the CEO of TT or anywhere else for that matter gives a hoot what us peons think, do, or say as long as we keep those fingers flying and bring them in an income.

Just my opinion.
