I have Verizon

because they had the best sound quality where I was at (LA area of SoCal) but kept them even after I moved as husband and I and three grown children and their spouses have Verizon and we have the in-call.  We dont get charged against our minutes for talking to another Verizon customer.  So....the minutes we do have we use for long distance to call other family members.

When I was in Cali, I tried about 3 or 4 different carriers and Verizon was the best for sound quality and NO dropped calls.

The $180 phone bill is $150 for cell and $30 for land line.  My cell bill would be $100 but husband has a Treo or Palm, whatever it is, and the data package for that phone is $50 a month.  A ripoff if you ask me as I only pay $5 a month to connect to the net on my phone.

Hope this all helps

I have Verizon and

i get a list of each call made.  This is in my monthly bill.  Granted, the bill is about 5 or 7 pages long, and the calls made from each phone are on page something like 3 or 5 BUT they are there.  We have two cell phones on the bill and most of the calls are * in network * and are not charged but they are all listed, together with date and time.

It seems odd that Verizon would not provide you with a list of the calls made and to what number.  I would pursue that.

I have Verizon cell and
they do not offer any discount at all.  I pay $180 a month for both.
Have had Verizon for years
We've used Verizon for cell phone service for years - not perfect, but definitely the best coverage we've found.

Don't know anything about the pre-pay thing though. Sorry.

I have a couple of Verizon phones.. SM
That I will be willing to sell.  They're the enV phones, pratically brand new.  We moved and can't use them in our new house in another state so Verizon let us out of our contract. If you are going to sign up with Verizon let me know.
Verizon good service?

Verizon bought my carrier, Alltel.  Are you current Verizon customers happy with your service?

do you know in this situation if my pay-as-you-go plan dollars will carry over when the transition is complete?  i looked at their FAQs but cannot find my answer there. thx!

Love Verizon compared to the others.

Had T-Mobile in the past and my sister has Sprint.  Definitely like Verizon the best.  Good service.  Doesn't seem to drop calls as much (still does every once in a while, but not often).  I live in a rural area and can get service in places other people can't and that T-Mobile wouldn't work in.

Does anyone have Verizon and also their cell phones. Can you tell me if they offer a decent deal if
you have both from them compared to other cell phones. No sure which one to get.
I have Suddenlink - can't read either.
nm
Does anyone use Suddenlink phone service? sm
I am just curious if anybody has any thoughts about this.  TIA
SuddenLink phone service

Hey Becky,

I am considering it as my bill would be so much cheaper not to mention convenient/paying all one bill for cable/phone and  internet.  Where are you located?  Alexandria Louisiana
