Anyone out there who had a TL (sm)

Good morning everyone.  Any ladies out there who have had a tubal ligation (not as part as another procedure like C-section), could you please answer some questions for me?  I have been wanting to get this done since I was 20 (now 30), but I was pressured into not having the procedure by the doctors, and some just outright refused to do it.  I'm wondering how long did it take you to recover, specifically pain wise because I have chronic pain and don't want this to exacerbate my pain condition. 

Any info on how bad the pain was, how long it took you to get back to work, any limitations it caused, etc.  Any info good/bad would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks a lot!
