I want to buy myself a b-day present, new perfume.  I need ideas on some light flowery summery ones, nothing heavy.  What's your favorite?

Of course, cologne! My DH will love that.
I was going to tell him the new gorgeous winter coat he bought himself was his Valentine's gift (he always buys something expensive before a holiday - grr!) but I could swing a bottle of cologne and he'll be thrilled.

This year he gave me my gift early so I could wear it to his niece's wedding. He got me a necklace to wear with the outfit I got to wear. I had an idea of what would look good, so I wanted to buy some costume jewelery myself, but instead he looked himself. He called me to ask a question, so I got to mention it had to be silver since the jacked had silver buttons, and that's good because he was looking at gold. I was scared about what it would look like, but it was EXACTLY what I would have gotten, except not costume. It had 3 real diamonds, and he got me pretty earrings as well. PERFECT! Good husband!
Bought some Avon cologne Island Vibe - daughter came by (sm)

and tried some.  She was ecstatic.  Said it was the old Malibu Musk I used to buy them from Avon in the early teens.  I can't even remember the name Malibu Musk.  (I do however certainly remember their teen years for other reasons).

Anyone else tried this or remember the old scent.  Seems like her olfactory memory was really triggered by this one.  She spent a long time chatting about the "old days" over this.

If you like something light and flowery try Beautiful by American Beauty. Kohl's carries it. Smells wonderful. I also like Red Door but that is stronger, as well as I hate to say it but its Britney Spears perfume Curious.
Perfume
I have two.  Armani for women and Cashmere Mist by Donna Karan.
my most favorite perfume ever!
and i love it!

Thanks so much!
So, what's your favorite perfume today?. ..sm

The original Burberry for me.  Cat

Lily of the Valley perfume...
I forget who makes it, it's a cheap brand and kinda cheezy but my mom always wore it and it reminds me of her and springtime and is my absolute favorite.  I always put a spritz or two on when I'm feeling down and it's an instant pick me up.

Perfume samples/trial sizes

I'd like to be able to buy some trial/samples of various perfumes.  I've found a few random ones, even free ones, but I'd like to be able to try some of the expensive brands by just purchasing those small samples or trial sizes.  So far I haven't found a very large selection of these websites and the ones I have found only had a few fragrances from which to choose.  Anyone know where I can go to buy these for a decent price?

Thanks.

My favorite perfume is Eternity by Calvin Klein - nm

OP, I'm curious, how old are you?
I hope you don't mind me asking.
Just curious...
Just curious as to what triggered the idea to search his computer. I have an ex-porn addicted BF. Porn was very important in his life, and not in mine. So I broke up with him. No sense wasting a good life with someone you can't be happy with.
I am curious
I did not get to see very much of her trial coverage, and it is my general opinion that one person does not have a right to decide that another should die. That said, if someone insisted that I let them *stick it up my butt* (literally -- ewwwww) and told me that if I had any problems I could have surgery . . . not sure what I might do.

I know you guys said you don't believe her story, and dead men tell no tales, but I am really curious about why such a light sentence for her. What was the evidence of abuse (I seem to remember hearing something about medical notes from doctor's visits, in which she had supposedly lied to the doctors about injury causes, which she now says were caused by her husband.) Do you know why they believed her story?
Curious about your name
I it pronounced Teresa and is this the actucal spelling. My name is Teresa but spelled Tereasa. Extra a was accidentally added on my birth certificate and my mom kept it that way.
Just curious, is there anyone who has had
this site? I am approximately two months from surgery and am excited to move forward. Just curious as to how many other home MT's are considering or have had this surgery and how well it has worked for you.
What's DBA? Just curious. I have no

I was curious about this ---sm
so I went on line to look for it. within the first three sites, I came across this and thought I had better share it:

Odo-ban Warning!

We show cats. Several years ago, we found Odo-ban at Sam's Club. It seemed like a great cleaning product, as it kills viruses, bacteria and other pathogens that might be a danger to our cats.

Unfortunately, in our experience, we have found that Odo-ban is a bigger danger to our cats than viruses or bacteria might ever be. Following our use of the product by the labeled instructions, Odo-ban destroyed the reproductive health of our cats, causing uterine and testicular atrophy, c-sections, and kitten death. In researching the product's contents, we have found it contains ingredients that are related to compounds known to cause reproductive damage in humans.

We have now talked to other people with cats that have had problems with this product. It requires long term exposure, and young animals whose reproductive organs are developing are at greatest risk. Vet hospitals seem to use it safely - but there is generally no long term exposure to the product by animals in vet hospitals.

Using the product caused us problems, not using the product has solved them. We feel it necessary to say to other pet owners, Odo-ban may be a problem for you and your animals.

I thought it was a show for people with no dance experience, Mel B has lots of it and Sabrina is a choreographer, Marie also has experience in dancing. I am glad Helio won because he has no experience and did a really great job.
Maybe he is just curious, but has
no intentions of cheating on you, or maybe he is obsessed with what goes on in a gay relationship, but yet loves you and his life, etc...  Just some thoughts.  I was in a relationship where the man was obsessed with sex, but yet we were not unhappy at the time.  Good luck!!
Just Curious
If all the circumstances were the same, but it the teacher had posted a blog on a similarly accessible space and called her student a lazy, whining "B****" (for not wanting to do the homework). When it came to the attention of the school authorities do you think the teacher would be covered by this same first amendment license?
So I'm curious

How many out there are in their marriage just for the children?

How many are happily married and wouldn't think of ending it for any reason?

I, for one, am in my marriage happily for the most part.  We are in counseling right now to iron out some issues, but I love my husband more than life and would do absolutely anything to save my marriage.  We have 3 children, so of course it is important to stay for them, but they're not my only reason for staying...just a curious thought (considering the latest posts regarding marriage and bad husbands).

Curious...
Why insulting? They aren't living off tips. Most of them are getting minimum wage if not 7 or 8 an hour to deliver pizzas...at least that is what a friend of mine was getting. Why is 2 insulting?
I am curious
Can I ask all your ages? Just curious.

I am in my 40s and have been divorced a loooong time. I know exactly what you are saying about slim pickins! It also seems that so many men from my age group are very immature about relationships and looking for a piece of @$$.

I think the best we can do is figure out what really matters to us in a man and, though we have to be flexible in some ways, do not compromise what is really important! If you date, view it as just an introduction to a new person. Be open but don't expect anything to come of it. If it somehow turns out to be a great thing ... woohoo! If not, you met another human being and learned something ... even if it is only realizing more what you DON'T want. That too will be helpful in recognizing the right man when you stumble onto him. :)
Just curious...sm
as to why you have a deadline for putting up your decorations. We put ours up here and there AFTER Thanksgiving and enjoy the whole experience. "Deadline" just sounds like it would take the pleasure out it. Honestly not trying to start anything, Just sayin'.
Ok curious here. What is the gas...sm
price in your town?  Here it is in the $1.70s range.  I haven't bought any in a week but that is what I am seeing now.  What about you?  By the way, I am in South Mississippi.
Just curious, how do you know this?

how old are you? just curious. nm
xx
Curious as well
to the answer. My husband was born, raised, and we live in the South. He has never heard of anything like that.
Curious to know what others tip for ...
I wouldn't tip for self service, as someone else said. Obviously I tip at restaurants and for pizza delivery, 15% minimum at restaurant and round up to nearest 5 for delivery.

Does anyone else tip for haircuts?

Is there anyone else I should be tipping? I don't want to be cheap.
Just curious
I don't mean any disrespect here, so please don't take it as such. The blond-haired, blue eyed child you speak of; is one parent 100% white and the other parent 100% African-American?

I'm just curious, because, like the other poster, I usually see some trace of both parents in the child.

Just curious -- where were they stored before

Did he/she disrupt your life?
That makes me curious...how old were YOU the SM

first time you had sex (not that it's any of my business, but I'm just curious).

I was 16.  I wish I had waited until I got married.  But hormones got the better of me.  I was sooo "in love" with this older guy and finally gave in to his daily requests for sex.

I knew about birth control, but was raised that it was "wrong" to use birth control....which is ironic as I was raised it was wrong to have premarital sex too!  LOL

I'm just really glad I didn't get pregnant until after I was married, but it was definitely a possibility.

So, I think we shouldn't judge her too harshly.

I'm curious - how did that happen? - sm
I recently got pet health insurance for my cats, and notice that one of the things NOT covered is ACL injuries. Never heard of it in a cat before, but sometimes in dogs. Did she jump from something high? Is it in a back or a front leg?
I was curious about the driver saying
I have them both in the car. I understand the mob wanting to get rid of David but why Sabrina. Wonder if further on down the road there will be a twist and she won't really be dead, Like after Vic and Niki get back together. Hmmmmmm! Makes you think!
not that i recall, curious, is this
a case in your family or on a report you did?
Just curious -- which of them had or has a publication

While I disagree with you... I am curious
What "chemical change" do you think it causes in their bodies? I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Science, which is mostly production, and I know that withdrawal periods on growth hormones are very long. Most cattle would get their last ear implant at 3 months of age. We generally butcher at 2 years of age. They are moved from grass to grain slowly and the change that it produces is in the microbial content of their stomachs, which is something that we do not eat. Since ruminants digest with the aid of microbes, you cannot just move them straight to grain because they cannot process it. The muscle stays the same chemically. The reason for grain finished beef is that consumers pay more money for a higher intramuscular fat content. This is what makes your steak juicy. All beef (grass fed or otherwise) has extramuscular fat trimmed to 1/4" thickness. It is only the marbling that changes from grade to grade. Personally, I am convinced that most foods are good for you, if not taken to excess. Ruminants are the only natural source of B-complex vitamins, as their bodies produce them and ours do not. You can take a vitamin, but it is usually made from beef. Corn finished beef. The only reason for corn finishing versus raising them on corn to start with is that corn is very expensive. Fat is the most expensive part of any animal's diet, so finishing is cost effective.
MT1- Do you have children of your own?? Just curious..sm
Have you personally experienced month after month or possibly even year after year of tests, surgeries, and that monthly negative pregnancy test?? Please be careful to say what you are 100% positive with regards to the actions you would take. This is a very sensitive subject, not one to approach with judgment. I'm speaking from experience. Just my 2 cents.

Also, I've learned that there are only two reasons why couples do not have children. (1) The physically cannot conceive, or (2) they are not ready/don't want children. Neither of which is anyone's business. This is a question that no one should EVER ask. It's hurtful either way to have to explain the "whys."

I hope the tone of my post isn't misunderstood as rude. I've just been there and it was such an emotional roller-coaster ride, it took therapy to help me get past the fact that it just wasn't going to happen.
I am so curious to know does it bother you ..sm
like everyday? I mean do you think what your child you put up for adoption is like and does it get to you a lot? I have often wondered what parents must go through who have done that. I know it must be very hard. I can't imagine.
Hey curious girl
Hey cg - it kind of sounds like more than just getting his number blocked. I'm not sure if this will be of any help or if you've even gone this route, but have you talked to a counselor to see if there is anything they can do to help him. I was reading some of the posts below and it sounds like there is more to it than just your dad being bored. I realize that if he's been saying he wants to or is going to kill himself for over a year now and has not done it yet most likely he is not going to (which is not a good thing if he did), but to me it sounds like he is maybe depressed (or some other issues going on in his life) but I'm not a trained person so I don't know, but that's what it sounds like to me. Maybe you could suggest to your dad that he either see a counselor or you go together or if he's totally against it at all you go see one by yourself to discuss the situation with them and see what they have to suggest. I don't know how old your dad is, but I remember my DHs grandmother got to a certain age and she started acting like a child again and my MIL had to start treating her like one. She told us that she would call her excessively and finally she told her that she was allowed to call her on certain days at certain hours and if she didn't abide to those rules she (my MIL) would have no choice but to change her telephone number and not give it to her. Maybe if you sit down with your dad and tell him there are are rules he has to follow (sort of like when you were growing up and there were certain rules your parents laid down for you (at least in my house there were) and if he doesn't follow the rules he will not be allowed to call you at all, maybe that would help. For for the most part it sounds like he's having some major life issues that he needs someone professional to help him work through and maybe some medication to help him.

Like I say, I don't know all the circumstances, his age, etc, but that just sounds like what it is to me. You shouldn't have to change your number or block anyone from your phone, but there should be rules he has to follow.
thank you, curious girl.......nm

Curious if anyone has experienced this
or opinions on what it may be. My daughter every now and then, this has been going on for about 6 months, will get hot, hands tingling, heart beating fast, and really nauseated. It seems to only happen late at night and only occasionally. She's 18 and refuses to go to the doctor. She has thrown up from it once or twice, but then is fine soon after. It usually doesn't last very long. Usually we can get her cold enough, etc., that she doesn't throw up. I wonder if it's hormones or anxiety or what. She's not really under a lot of stress right now, so even though it sounds a lot like anxiety other than the vomiting, I just don't think that's it. Has anyone heard of anything like this before? (And no she's not pregnant.)
