No, it definitely isn't about talent
I also saw where Simon said he would quit if Sanjaya wins. He did that show in England - Pop Idol? - and it got to the point where they wouldn't let anyone call in to vote anymore. They changed the name and the judges decided who went home. I would hate to see that happen with American Idol, but right now, I don't even care to watch. Plus it's on opposite Gilmore Girls and that is one of my all time favorites.

yes, she did have talent when much younger.....
She had talent when she was still a good girl........when she still had morals and ethics before choosing her so-many-wrong-paths.

I'm not talking about her talent, but rather
her not being a good role model. I just don't see how that description fits.

Who do you want to win America's Got Talent? (sm)
I love the ventriloquist and Cas Haley. I have gotten to really like Butterscotch in the last few weeks, but hope either Terry Fator or Cas wins. Tomorrow night will tell. 
I understand that but once again I am basing this on talent
and the overall opinion of their music. If you haven't noticed, Kelly and Carrie have multiple awards and huge record sales and Fantasia does not.
Is anybody watching America Has Talent?
Normally I avoid those types of shows like the plague but I like seeing all these people who are amateurs show what they can do and you can see them improving and polishing their act and their look and gaining stage presence...it's really kind of nice to see such a variety of people striving to make their dreams come true.
What is your favorite act?

the other night who sang opera! What a talent and what a warm wonderful guy who broke down when he spoke of his mother, what she has done for him, and what this means to her!
Well, my vote was for talent, not popularity. I have his CD and love it.

Actually Simon has the nose for real talent
and he is only telling the truth whereas Paula, Kara and sometimes even Randy try to sugarcoat. I totally am fully behind Simon. Danny is good but who was the second guy who sang, slow song and had not seen him before, really good. As far as replacing the girl thrown off, they did not announce a replacement of any kind. I was surprised that Danny's friend did not make it. He is really good, also. I like Danny, think he will go far because not only good singer but also very, very likeable. I was also surprised that lots seemed really nervous last night and I think it showed big time. I think the guys have the girls beat all over the place this time. I think Tatiana is good but might have gotten off on a bad footing with the audience because of acting so looney.
I loved Danny and think he is a real talent and
his music appeals to a wider audience than hard rock. Adam gets on my nerves with the high pitched screaming. I thought Danny had a beautiful voice and a wonderful presence. I wish him the very best.

Faith Hill's only talent is hitchin' her proverbial wagon
She has no more talent than Carrie does. As a matter of fact, Carrie's better and didn't need to marry a big name to break into show business.
Basing on talent, I think Taylor Hicks has a phenomenal voice.
