Eviction

In Reply to: Is it legal to evict a long-term tenant - sm - A Question for Renters

My ex MIL bought her neighbors house, she had lived next to them for 15+ years, her step-father had built both houses.  She decided after her husband passed away (my father-in-law) that she wanted to sell her house and move which she did but then decided that she liked her prior neighborhood better than where she had moved, and evicted them from the house so she could move into it.   So yes you can evict without just reason.  It was hard for me to believe that she did this to friends/neighbors but she did.  Stayed there for 18 months and moved again.

Got an eviction notice today.
My paychecks have been so small for the last couple of months. I have not paid my rent for this month and already have a dispossessory notice.

I just moved into this apartment at the end of last month because it was less expensive than the place I lived before.

Sad.
Eviction. Foreclosure. Are you still in the trailer? Do you rent the land?
