My MIL uses fabric softener on her towels and they do not dry worth a darn. It takes twice as long for me to dry my body after a shower with her towels than with mine. I think I probably just eventually air dry.


I used to use fabric softener on everything else but after that thread on this board a while back about the hazards of artificial scents and chemicals I don't use fabric softener any more and I removed everything from the house (like scented candles, potpourri, etc.) that was scented. I have seen an improvement in my allergy symptoms since then.
