I didn't manage to get a flu shot this year, and after going to a wedding last weekend I started coming down with something Thursday. Felt like a cold, but not so much a runny nose. Next day it was all about neck and shoulder pain and being cold. Called my sister and she urged me to see the doctor for a flu test now to get started on a flu medicine. All I wanted to do was stay in bed under the heating blanket, so I had gotten a sick day. Called my doctor, but her office was already closed. However, she called in Tamiflu and DH picked it up for me. After only 2 doses I actually do feel better today and I can work. That's the first time I've taken it, and I also took zinc and chicken soup and electric blanket therapy, but it is working.
