and that freakin' song "happiness runs". Makes me hope all those little kids floating on the giant fruity cheerios in the milk sink.

Fruity salsa
Your question reminded me of one of those travel/food shows I saw once where they had these hot dogs with more exotic type toppings, and what I was thinking of was mango salsa. Besides having all of the usuals, it might be fun to have a couple like that, too. I have to agree that I LOVE the Hebrew National hot dogs. Here's an article I found when Googling hot dogs and mango salsa. Kind of interesting.

cheerios. taget practice might sound gross but it has always worked for me.

I have taken care of and have potty trained a lot of little boys over the years all starting before 2 and the best thing I found was putting cheerios in the toilet and having them try to shoot the cheerios, like target practice.  I have also used fruit loops and made a game of which color they could hit.  Anything that floats and is flushable is fair game.  They love the game and always want to go potty.

If it is warm where you live a few days going pee outside works too.  They can go when they want, do it themselves and learn how to control their urges quickly.

On the other hand, #2 for most boys I have found is harder.  They usualy hold it for too long and need to get their bowels on a regular cycle.  I have had a couple boys up until 4 hold it all day long and then go home and their mother would put a diaper on them so they would go and then want to be changed right away.  As soon as the mothers stopped that though the child went to the potty fine.  I would recomend talking with his doctor if that happens.

Good Luck!!!  It will happen when he is ready.

I need recipes for pretty, fruity, fun drinks
or coffee drinks. My sons, their dates, and two other couples of coming to our house tonight after the senior prom. They plan to play Dance, Dance Revolution and watch movies on the big screen. Of course, they asked me about it only an hour ago! I'm happy to have the kids over, but wish I had a little time to plan. I will stay up when they are here and will make them breakfast. I have one of those waffle makers that you see at hotel breakfast buffets, so they will have waffles and other breakfast goodies, but I thought it would be fun to serve them some pretty drinks in some of my fancy glasses that I never use. Nonalcoholic, of course! I think I'd like to make up two pitchers, something fruit-based and something coffee-based.

Does anyone have any good recipes?
