Glad you picked TyneLyn!

That is what I call her most of the time! I cover my hands and play peek-a-boo with her when she is on my lap. I open my hands really fast and she puts that pointy little nose in to lick me. We keep this up until I can't stop laughing. She ALWAYS WINS!

I think you are right. . Cupid and TyneLyn are not that terribly couragious, but they sure brighten up our lives! I will go downstairs now, to WHAT? I will email tomorrow on the Gab Board and tell you how she liked the party!

TyneLyn's Mom!!

Hi!  I saw your post down below and figured I would answer this one so maybe you would catch it better!  I hope your having a nice day off.  You deserve that one after yesterday don't you think?  I feel like taking today off but I say that everyday when I wake up!!  Are you alone in your apt?  I sure hope so.  I'm sorry, I thought Herman Munster got it for you.  Get your landlord over there today so maybe he can figure out where it came from.  I can't believe you almost touched that thing.  I sure would have ran out the door in a flash.  After I saw a bat in the house when I was living in NC anything that I saw a bat on for a decoration at halloween I didn't want to have anything to do with.  That is how sensitive I am.

So it sounds like everybody including TyneLyn had a good time at the BD party!  she sounds really sweet.  Did you have a BD dress for her!!  There is a place nearby where Cupid gets groomed and they have the cutest sundresses for girl dogs!!  I laughed my head off when I saw them but they are really cute.  The woman that grooms Cupid said a lady about 80 years old came in and bought one for her daushand (I don't think I spelled that right)  for a reunion her family was having and the dogs were going to get dressed up and have a "best dressed contest"   Don't you just want to squeeze them so much with all the cuteness and love they have!  When my nephew was a few years younger he would tell Cupid he wanted to make lemonade out of him!!!  Will you see TyneLyn today?  Give her a hug for me!!!

Have a good (and batless) day off!!! I will talk to you later!

they are all cute, but TyneLyn is my favorite

Did you ever ask her what her favorite was?!   hehe, TyneLyn help you!  I have said to Cupid to help me when I had to kill roaches living in georgia!   All they can do is help us to be scared!  LOL!

Did you say you had these before in your place?  If so, what does your landlord, apt. manager or whoever say about this?  Don't worry. I'm sure your safe now.  You are going to have fun tonight!  Have a great one!

TyneLyn's party! We missed you, Me2

Little Tyne sure had a great time at her party today! I gave her a small piece of her doggie cake and mom, dad and I had one too! It actually was quite good, but dry, not sugary sweet, of course.  I gave her just a little vanilla ice cream with her cake. Later the big guns!  Her Dad went into the TV room and brought her brand new toy out on the porch!  She played with it all evening and even when I was leaving she was still under the end table between her mom and me while we were watching TV, playing with her new rope toy. She sure had a great day! I said to my mom tonight that it takes so little to bring joy to pets and make them feel loved. Making an animal feel loved and safe is everything to me. I am going to volunteer at our local S.P.C.A. this fall for sure. The orientation is the second Saturday of each month. I work every other Saturday, and the first one that is free is October 13. I will be there!

he picked Jen.............

Oh. Been there done that. Picked myself up.

Babying someone and telling them to sit in a corner and cry is doing them NO good at all.

You are an enabler and not helping.

I picked thru their hair...
Took small section by section and picked thru and took each nit and pulled them out several times a day until I found no more nits. I had to go thru mine too since I got it too.
I would have picked different parents
My 16 and 18-year-old hippy selfish, self-centered, neglectful parents are now plastic surgery seeking, anti-depressant popping nightmares, and they are still whiny babies.
There were the 3 I had picked. Absolutely
love Adam. Yes, there will be 3 wildcards. The judges will bring back those they think need a second chance; hoewver, I don't know if the public picks the last 3 or if the judges do.
See who I picked in my message on first post.
xx
I still haven't picked my jaw up off my desk. (sm)

I just got off a quick break and decided to watch this video that I was told would floor me.  It certainly did.  I knew our political system was corrupt, but I honesly had no idea "they" were this blatant about it.

This is well worth the several minutes or so it takes to watch.  I didn't post this under either political board, because it transcends both the conservative and liberal spectrums.  Maybe this should go under the prayer request board now that I think of it.

If it's happening there, it's happening everywhere.  These "voices of the people" totally need a good smackin.

Just click on the link hopefully shown below.  If it doesn't work, cut and paste this into your browser: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eG6X-xtVask

The fact that the 2 you picked up even mentioned
A long, long time ago, when I had just started working at a new job, a cute-looking guy who worked down stairs would always pass me on the stairs as I was going on my break. He seemed shy, we always just said hello. This went on for months. I liked him, but never talked to him for more than a few moments on the stairs.

Then, one morning, out of the blue, something really weird happened. As we passed each other, I said 'Hi!' as usual. After I was just past him, from behind, he said, 'Watch out, I might just rape you.'

????? Whaaaat.....???? Where on earth did THAT come from? I never spoke to him again.

Well, at about that time, there was a serial rapist in the area who over a period of time raped a lot of women in the nearby hills a popular hiking/jogging spot that I went to often, as well. He'd pick someone tired, offer to show them shortcut, and attack them in the wooded area he led them through.

Well, long story short, the guy I'd been saying hi to every morning at work, turned out to be that serial rapist! A late-20s-ish guy who was drop-dead cute, with an innocent-looking baby face. Boy, were my instincts ever NOT functioning with him, until he made that odd comment to me on the stairway! Before he made that comment, if I had bumped into him out at the hiking trail, I most surely would've gone along with him when he offered a short-cut, and become yet another statistic.

I picked the olives off trees in Greece
and was I surprised. Tasted nothing like what I was used to. I love Milk Duds also. I think they are really good when you go to the movies along with your popcorn and cola. I hardly buy them if not at the movies, wonder why?
I picked out my ring and absolutely regret it!
I really wish I would have had him do it all and we would have just slowed down. I love my husband to pieces, but it would have been nice to have a proposal and a surprise to see my ring for the first time. We kind of just agreed to get married and then went ring shopping together, but now I wish there had been more romance involved. Just let the boy pick it out - If he knows you well enough like he should if you plan on marrying him, then he'll surely pick out something you like.
I once called in a pizza order to be picked up
and the guy on the phone said off-handedly....I don't need to charge you the extra dollar since it is not being delivered. I asked if that dollar went to the delivery person and he sheepishly said no. Really ticked me off.
The judges picked awful songs all the
way around last night, I thought. None of them were suited for the songs chosen for them & they were bad songs... And speaking of judges, I hope Cara or Kara is GONE next season. She gets on my last nerve.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit amphetamines
We picked out ours together. They were matching nugget bands with 4 diamonds at angle. However....
last year was our 19th anniversary. I had lost my ring about 2 weeks before my anniversary (or so I thought anyway).

For my anniversary, he had bought me a 1 carat marquis diamond. He had hid my band and then miraculously the day I tell him about losing it, he says "Oh, I found it and put it in your ring box." He goes and gets my box and yes my band is in there but also my new ring as well. It has been 19 years (now getting close to 20), I still love him to death simply because I know he really listens to me (and of course the fact that he is a sweetie!)
Sounds like YOU picked a real loser to sleep around with and have kids with.
You have no one to blame but yourself.
Glad everything is okay! nm

Wow...Glad your not my mom!

Life is way to short.  I had a stepmother like you.  Once I lost my mittens and it was freezing outside and I had to walk.  This wench actually got in her car, found me on my way to school in a snow storm and took the mismtached pair that I had found in a box.  She was an awful woman and I never saw her again after I was 16 and left the house.  I hope she has as miserable a life now as she deserves.  Don't be a petty witch with your children.  They will resent you in the end, may be even slash your perfect tires....

Glad to help!
I never really watched Frasier. I know, my loss from what I hear. Sounds very funny! Will have to start watching the reruns :)
glad i'm not you
Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine and full of compassion. It's not always about the almighty dollar. You get what you give in life and that includes taking care of ALL of God's creatures. You have no heart.
Glad I did it

I never went to the ER (I have to be almost dead before I go), so I suffered about 4 episodes before I went to the doctor.  I didn't know what it was.  Each attack got worse.  After the last one, which was horribly painful, I went to the doctor, and didn't hesitate to get surgery done.  I had a "rock garden", the tech called it.  It was PACKED with stones!  I had to wait almost 2 months.  I was so afraid to eat I lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks!  No exercise either!  THAT was easy! Having never been in a hospital before as a patient, nor even having had any kind of procedure, the anticipation of the surgery was MUCH worse than the procedure.  But I was a healthy person with no previous surgeries.  I had almost no pain after, and took it easy.  I went back to work after 3 days.  I don't know what the risk would be with your recent surgery.  It's something to talk out FULLY with your doctor.

You'll make the right decision.

I am soo glad it's
,
I'm glad you did. (nm)

Glad to see you came out okay!
Was your dad in the picture, by the way? You said it depends a lot on the parent, which is true, but it seems you did well for yourself on your own without much help from your mom. I have always believed that kids are born with their own set personality and demeanor, and that the parents can help foster good kids and teach them right from wrong along the way. Seems you were born a good seed.
thanks - so glad someone could help -
this is the only thing I miss about an office setting - someone always knew answers when I didn't.  Home Depot, here I come!  I was going to build chicken wire cages around them, but it is chipmunks that won't help either.
I had them done and am glad I did...sm
In high school I had allergy testing done which showed I was allergic to dust and mold, and we were able to control my symptoms by making changes around the house to cut down on these (i.e. plastic mattress and pillow covers).

A few years ago I developed other allergic symptoms and had food testing done which revealed that I have 3 allergies to chemicals in foods, and once I eliminated those food sources the problems went immediately away.

Good luck to you. Not everyone who has allergies needs allergy shots, but if you do they should help you. Even my dog had allergy shots and they helped her significantly!
So glad for you - sm
It's so hard for the families to not hear anything for such long periods of time.

I completely understand.

Prayers for your nephew as well as all of our servicemen and women.
Glad I Could Help
I was channeling my 4 year old. LOL.
Glad I could help a bit.
It is definitely going to be longer than 2 weeks though. Not sure on the recovery time for a vaginal so I would ask your doctor. Hopefully, your situation can be resolved without it. Again, good luck.
I'm so glad you took her
and the vet did the right tests. I'm sure you'll both be feeling much better now.
Oh, me too, so glad to see others. (nm)

Glad to help :)
I joined one of those DVD clubs to start my collection. I mostly buy the movies I know I will watch over and over again.

There are only certain movies you can do that with and these are some of them for me.

Enjoy!
Glad you are doing well too! (sm)
I also have to remind myself I have it because I am fine. Sometimes I wish I didn't even know about it! I only got tested because I knew I was at risk. So you have had it about 8 years or so longer than me, and still doing great so that's really good!
I'm so glad she seems to be doing well
If she were in serious pain, she would let you know. You love her enough to do the right thing for her. So let her tell you when she is ready. Until then, treasure each moment with her.
Glad she's a little better
She'll definitely know when she's ready. I had posted before that I had lost my cat back in March. I'm still not over. Like one of the other posters, before she died, I think she had a stroke. She died at home. Just be there for her. On her last night I told her it was okay to go, and she must have listened because she died a few hours later.
glad
I am glad you had a nice heart-to-heart discussion with her. HOpefully, this opened the door to many more conversations and it sounds like may be her friends feel they can be honest to. I just hope you can get rid of this loser and hopefully she can stay away because my concern is if she wants no more will he except that. HOnestly, i hope she is not just saying that to make you happy and I don't know her very well so who am I to say. It sounds like she is being honest with you. This was her first time correct? If so, it sounds like she realized what a huge mistake it was. People, who are you to critize her for having this guy looked into. If you had the resources you would to! I know i definitley would. Well hopefully she will listen to her brother and I would stay out of it and act like you know nothing and see if she will come to you and talk to you about it. Hope it all works out for ya!
I'm glad you were seen right away!
Now maybe you can get some relief...at least temporarily until the root canal.  Ugh, makes my stomach roll to even think about it!  Hang in there!
Glad you are okay now

Glad you liked it...nm

but very glad to know this!!

glad
I'm glad some of the commments helped you. . It sounds like you have a good grip on things. . I hope everything works out for the two of you.
Glad you liked it! - sm
I watched it a bunch of times late last night. The French guy & his friend were visiting SF & did the filming, but I know a bunch of the SF downhillers. Too bad Lombard St. is paved with bricks, isn't it? I felt they did a little too much footage of the slalom skating in Fort Mason Park, but he IS amazingly agile.
I'm glad you liked it!. . sm
I was sick of Manwich too! I have made it without the green peppers and onions and it was okay. Thanks for letting me know you liked it!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one!
I stopped taking the Benadryl 2 night ago, and I'm hoping to see a change in my hair! My hair is usually EXTREMELY thick. In fact, every person who ever cut my hair always commented on how thick it was! Since taking the Benadryl for the past few months, I have noticed my hair thinning and falling out (Not huge clumps, but usually one or two strands when I run my hand through it). I was also wondering about maybe hard water causing it, but I think it was the Benadryl!
glad
I'm so glad the Beagle won. . my dad had beagles and I always loved them.. his last one he had was named Bozo Billy and he gave dad a lot of comfort when he was suffering with lung cancer. .
Thanks!!! I'm so glad you like them (sm)
I always buy fabric at the fabric store so I don't know about the fabric you can order online. If you do order some online, will you let us know if it turns out to be good? (thanks!)My children just told me yesterday that they think I should make them a new one every Christmas :)
So Glad
to see that i am not the only "insane" person out there who will willingly throw $700.00 at the vet for an emergency appointment (and x-rays and blood tests) just to make sure my cat is ok!  keep it up fellow animal lovers!

Really glad I am not the only one
I thought it was fun for a while, and wouldn't mind doing something like this from time to time but it seemed to be turning into the game board and not the gab board.
Wow am I glad my MIL is not like that.

She is awesome.  I can't imagine having to deal with stuff like that, and I certainly can't imagine having a husband that lets his mother treat his wife like that.

Sounds like some of you need a new husband with a backbone.
