If you are still undecided, talk to your local community college with a nursing program and find out what pre-reqs you will need and start working on them at least. Most of them can be applied to something else if it turns out nursing isn't the direction you want to go.

I'm back in school now and so glad. It's tough going to school part-time (for now) and working full time with a family but its going and I'm sure it will be worth it.
