It wouldn't hurt me to walk myself. See my other dog CJ, he is not overweight, but when he is in the backyard he runs and plays and when he comes in sometimes he is out of breath just from playing. So he gets plenty of exercise without walks, which is good because he is too big for me to walk. He would walk me if I took him for a walk. When I put him on the leash he is so excited that he just tries to walk me. He weighs 73 pounds but is not fat. He is just a big dog. Very strong. So I am glad he exercises in the back yard.
