As much as I love animals and have several, I really don't care for cats all that much. They are okay outside, but definitely don't want one in my house, so I would think that you should respect your husband's wishes for a cat free home, given my preference. Having said that, I might make an exception to my no cats inside rule for cute little kittens ;)
